I like the idea behind Breaking the Ice, and I'd really like to finish it for everyone who says they like it. But I've sincerely tried to start working on it again, and I simply can't. For one, I've progressed as a writer, and now this story seems sloppy and poorly written to me. That makes it hard to pick it back up again. For another, I've changed as a person since I started writing it, which makes it harder to relate to the characters and their situations as I once did - and they seem awfully young. To tell the truth, I've forgotten a lot of what I planned for this story, though I still remember certain key scenes and the ending. I'm just not sure what to do with this piece. I'm thinking of starting over from scratch, but I have so many other ideas for stories and this one just doesn't interest me anymore. But, you never know. Well, just letting everyone know that I'm still around.
