Message to fellow readers/writers:

Not much to say except that alike you, I enjoy spending my leisure time (and lazy afternoons at work), reading/writing fanfiction. I have not written/updated my fics. for some time and I truly apologize for that. Writer's block is a terrible epidemic sweeping across the nation for some time and I have caught it. The only thing I can promise is that no matter how long it takes, I will finish my stories =)

With that being said, I'd like to just give a bit of bg info. of why I read/write mostly FF8 fanfiction. Even though I enjoyed many games, from FF series, Zelda series, to Mario, Resident Evil, etc. I find that many of these games, although they are great game-wise, are very lacking when it comes to character development, (etc FF8/Zelda mostly), which is why I find fanfiction written about characters from both these games to be very appealing to me.

After all, it really is a shame to have lovely characters created with such awesome history and traits but not have their characters developed. It's too cruel.

Which is why FF8 is such an example. Beautiful characters, beautiful setting, beautiful storyline--all ingredients to an excellent game except for the, oh the 3 foot deep character development for their amazing characters, which is why noble people like you writers/readers gather here to express your desire to see these characters develop a personality and to yes, see them come alive.

With that being said, I'll briefly describe my user history. Been a member for a couple of years and started reading FF8's Seifer/Quistis stories. I even started writing some. Later on I got into FF7 stories and adored many Cloud/Tifa stories. Just very recently, I bought a Wii along with Zelda: Twilight Princess, which rekindled my love for Ocarina of Time, therefore leading me to read Zelda fics. now too. I adore Malon/Link (how cute is the word Malink?) couplings and have grown to love Malon/Dark Link couplings also. What can I say, I love the bad ones =)

So as for that, I'd just like to say to all the writers out there, thanks for bringing my favorite characters alive. It's a very noble thing you do and I'd just like to let you know that there are people out there who appreciate what you do very much. Keep on doing what you do.

and most of all, thanks to the readers out there who continue to support our favorite characters no matter what circumstances they are put in. With no readers, there can be no writers.
