Age: Twenty-one. Legal for all things now. Woo!
Location: North Carolina, in her senior year of college and/or Subway (granted, it is a Subway in NC), where she artistically designs sandwiches while cursing customers angrily under her breath. No, it not you, it's her.
Major at said college: English, no surprises there, and Classics. Minorly surprising, because it demands foreign languages. Foreign languages are the plague of Jackamiah's existence.
Gender: Jackamiah is female. She would have hoped that this would have been obvious from the third statement on this paper, using the pronoun "she".
Jackamiah's fanfiction is generally going to be about fandoms wherein she feels very comfortable. The most likely for this is going to be Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Harry Potter, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, X-Men (almost any verse except the movies, and though she likes them, she doesn't consider them real X-Men, no matter how sexy she finds Hugh Jackman to be), and a few miscellaneous others. If she ever gets a chance to finish watching the seasons of Supernatural that her brother gave her, that has a fairly high chance of being added to the list.
Jackamiah's reviews: Jackamiah, our little darling, leaves mean reviews. It happens. Often. Usually it's because she hates seeing people who have actual talent waste it by not bothering with correct grammar and punctuation, by not using complete thoughts and ideas, by adding god-be-damned author's notes mid-chapter, which completely ruin the flow of the story (and yes, she has been guilty of this in her first works, and she's very sorry about it, and has learned her lesson). Now, if someone has received a rude review from her, she hopes that they will at least read and take into account actual constructive criticism buried beneath a biting tone, because sarcasm and Jackamiah are completely inseparable. If she does happen to leave a good review, it's usually useless, and along the lines of "Guh." Because eloquence and compliments with her don't arrive together. Just an inability to say that she thinks that something is amazing.
Jackamiah's views on slash: When it comes to fanfiction, generally she writes het-couples (although that is not the case for a few fandoms that she hasn't yet posted, like Newsies) but she reads pretty much everything so long that it's well-written, and that does occasionally include slash. If reading slash, Jackamiah's much more willing to accept friendship-slash than any other variety (i.e. if she's reading Harry Potter, she's far, far more likely to read Harry/Ron than Harry/Draco). Jackamiah hates Harry/Draco. With an unholy passion. Jackamiah draws the line at "mpreg". It makes no sense, biologically, and it annoys her. If you want someone to get pregnant: bring in a girl. Boys don't get pregnant. Women, be proud what you're capable of, don't just hand it away, please and thank you!
