Well, I thought I'd change my profile a bit, so you know where most of ideas come from and where they're going. First off, I have seen a great many movies of various themes and genres. The same can be said of video games, though to a much lesser extent. My main work right now is the Tales of Chaos series, which features a variety of mage not many people know exists. Given that everybody is so personal on their profiles, I figured I'd entertain you with some choice quotes I found in my daily life:
"Look dude, I'm not THAT stupid!"
-"That's the last time I judge a person by their looks." (conversation between me and my counterpart, first line's mine)
"They say great minds think alike."
-"And they also say even idiots have their lucky moments" (see above)
"Do that one more time and they'll never find your body." (me, to some annoying little guy in my class ticking off the teacher and then giving him my name)
"Damn! They've found the body!" (me, when aforementioned jerk was sick and a police car was heard in the distance in the middle of class)
"Fnord much?" (to be found in later works)
"If I can't wop you away, I'll just fnord the living daylights out of you." (again, something for the future)
"Luckily, right at that moment, an unconscious Argentinian fell through my roof. He was quickly followed by a dwarf dressed as a nun."(Ewan McGreggor, I think, from 'Moulin Rouge!'. Trust me, it's there.)
"You know that short guy from Ally McBeal? He played in Dragonslayer, the bloodiest Disney movie to date...Mind you, Pirates of the Caribbean had more corpses, but 'Dragonslayer' had a lot more blood and gore." (me trying to impress a few laymen with my knowledge of bloody Disney movies. Didn't work.)
"You summoned a ghost? You used some protection, I take it?"
"Yeah, like I'm really gonna bring Durex to a Ouija game." (conversation between me and a dabbler in the occult. She was told she'd die at age 23, and I'm the only specialist she knows. Pray for her, please.)
More to follow.
Now, one general rule you should know about and should keep in mind when reading some of my stuff:
Nothing is what it seems
That also means that if you think something's going to happen, most of the time it won't while what can never happen, will happen.
This is especially true for the Tales of Chaos series.
So expect the unexpected and set your faces to 'stun'.
And please don't lynch me if I write something you don't like.
