Favorite pairings: Ulquiorra/Orihime

Pairings I would like to see:

More Nel/UlquiorraUkitake/Unohana, Starrk/Tatsuki, Ulquiorra/Nel, Orihime/Aizen, Byakuya/Matsumoto, Gin/Matsumoto (prewinter war or AU), Soi-Feng/Starrk (I’d like to see someone remove that stick from her ass), Grimmjow/Nel (I know its cliché, but I really do like to see those), less a fan of Orihime/Grimmjow I’d rather see a Ulqui/Hime/Grimm (yes a trio I know, but I can only see that pairing if they play off each other), and yes of course Ichigo/Orihime or Hichigo/Orihime or even Hichi/Hime/Ichi BUT I tend to be wary of those, I’ve yet to read a really great fic that portrays Ichigo’s hollow as its own entity, but if you can do it all the more power to you, oh and Urahara/Yuroichi (prewinter war or AU; I know there can be a lot of contention with that, their relationship beforehand seemed more platonic than anything but I can’t help but feel the potential is there), Yachiru/Kenny post soul society (no lemons though please, too pedophilic), Shunsui/Lisa, Dark Ichigo/Sode no Shirayuki, Nanao/Shunsui

Things I hate with regard to fanfic

Fanfictions written in first person. I can count on one hand the number of fics that I’ve read written in first person that were well written. Spelling errors, Grammatical errors, and Swearing in fanfiction. With swearing I can give a little bit of leeway…not that I hate it but I tend to dislike it, I find it gets overdone. Most of the characters we meet don’t swear and the few that do aren’t spitting expletives every other word, so when I see it becomes very OOC. And don’t think of me as some crusader on some high horse, my mouth is as dirty as they come but I don’t go around dropping F* and holy sh* in my work environment or even outside, impressionable ears and all, and I’m betting that you guys don’t either. In the privacy of my own home whole other story. Moving on: Hinamori/hitsugaya pairings also makes the list. I’m sorry I just see those two as brother and sister and nothing else, I can’t get past that. Lastly, but not leastly changing the gender of characters. We meet them as a certain gender (and yes there have been many, many anime that make gender very ambiguous and intentionally androgynous--take for example Homuura in Seikirei) and they should stay that way. Unless the original authors have changed it themselves or made intentionally obscure and developed it as such in the plot line, leave it alone.

Update 3/31/13:

While I have dropped off the face of the planet with regard to publishing, up until this point I had been working pretty diligently on several new stories and trying to update some old ones to a point that I can resume them with some degree of confidence. Unfortunately, life has chosen to make me punch line to some cosmic joke that I am not aware of because my computer and external hard drive crashed simultaneously and I lost EVERYTHING. Not just my stories but my entire existence for the last 5 years or so. I am beside myself so any hopes of seeing any more writing from me should be postponed indefinitely. I may post something randomly but honestly don't get your hopes up.
