things you should know. when i grow up, im gonna write. perform. travel. teach. speak. kingdom keepers is my life. honest. kk took my life, shook it, and put it back in place with a renewed love for disney and a reason to keep on fighting. and for that, i am forever grateful. im also grateful for the opportunity i was given to meet ridley pearson, who should be king of the world btw, which was the best day of my life. he’s truly an amzing author and, in my opinion, a hero. an amazing example of those striving to keep the magic alive. my life mission is to raise KK pride. i know a little french. latin. spanish. by little I mean little. but im learning. jessie, elle and lulu are my fanfiction sistahs for life. i like to play with fashion and its many disguises. i'm the one with the crazy neon colors and sixteen neckalaces at a time and those glove-thingies-that-are like-leg-warmers-for-hands. yeah. i think in another life i was a fashion designer. i say shed (so hufflepuffin' awesome *dies*), legit, score, fluffy, boss, honest, explosive, amazing, oh snap, 'tis, epic, and perfection a lot. i need a theasaurus. i have a special devotion to peter pan. half because of the starcatcher series, half because I saw the broadway play that just about changed my life. oh yeah and return to neverland was my childhood and "i'll try" will forever be my favorite song. i do everything in eights. maybe it's because i dance, maybe it's 'cause i'm a slave to my traditions, but 8's my lucky number because it's shown up a lot in my life. so when i leave a review for you with an exclamation, the vowel's gonna me repeated four/eight/sixteen times. that's just how it is. regalian, child of the barricade, erudite, crier, roller-blader, newsie, RAD, district 2, hufflepuff, starcatcher, lostie, music fairlie (its true i have proof) and princess. all I wanna be is merida.

i'm very passionate about the things i love. but, in all honesty, all i wanna do is spread the wonderful feeling i get when i'm able to embrace those things full out. come with me; i'll lead you to a world of crazy fangirly love and fluff.

ii. my name—and its meaning

PREVIOUSLY AMANDA J GRANGER, AMANDA KATNISS GRANGER, AND AMANDA KATRICE GRANGER, AND amanda-kate-granger

My real name is not on this site, but it's on others. You can find it, I'm sure. But for now call me Mandy. Everyone's been doing that for so long I figure I'd let it flow. But I wouldn't mind it terribly if you did call me my real name. (I also have a second nickname--Dawn, after my username on KK7 Insider (Dawn_Quill). No one's been using it recently, and that's just fine, but I wanted to throw that out there.)

My penname is one of my favorite quotes in the world, from the Kingdom Keepers series (book 2: Disney at Dawn).

It was used to describe Amanda during chapter 14, probably one of the best chapters in the series. I have a fixation on Fairlies, especially Mattie during 6...but Amanda is the very definition of epicness. Okay? Ridley Pearson said it himself--he loves her. And I'm pretty much obsessed with making her the queen of teen literature characters. So yeah, she's beyond boss.

vii. operation find—help me discover the stories that brought me here

In July/August/September 2011, I discovered this website. Two stories I had read sealed the deal for me…and I can’t find them now.

Will you guys help me?

1. Read on July 11, 2011- A story in the Harry Potter section. I read two chapters—I’m not sure if there were more, although, the way it was worded, it kinda implied that it was continuing. The first chapter I read took place right after the Battle of Hogwarts. Harry and Hermione were walking through the wreckage and they came across Voldemort’s body. Hermione touched it. (The POV much have been third person omniscient because after she touched him it was revealed in the text that a sickness was instantly passed to her.) The second chapter took place in an office (maybe a Muggle one, I’m not sure) where Hermione was working.
2. Read sometime after July 11, 2011- A story in the Kingdom Keeper section. I read one chapter—I’m not sure if there were more, although, the way it was worded, it kinda implied that it was continuing. There were two parts to the chapter: first one, Finn and Amanda were in a room, (for some reason, I keep thinking there’s a fireplace there) and then Finn wakes up (apparently it was a dream). Next chapter he was talking with Dillard and wondering about the dream. (The POV was third person.)

I have searched for both stories and had no success (even for the KK one, which is making me start to think it’s off the site because the archive is fairly small.) I don’t know the title or author of each.

I would really appreciate your help, no matter how involved it is. Thank you very much ;)

ix. odds and ends—randomness, more like it

If there’s one story that you have to read by me, make it...Dare or Truth. No, honestly. I think I'm more proud of that story than any other...I think it sums up everything I am: random, bursting with energy, and crazy. Heh. If you can't take an OOC fic try i suggest we stick to the shadows. But that's still pretty OOC...

I appreciate reviews very much, but I also accept constructive criticism. I strive to improve, and I’m open to any advice for my stories/future stories.

I actually have a real, biological sister...ChickenPanda's1Fan. (Don't ask. It started with a chicken panda...yeah. Kinda got outta control.) They call her Lulu. She doesn't have any stories, but she's hilarious to talk to. Shoot her a PM!
