A tall creature stalks into the picture, carrying a pile of books, it looks like a large human which was given wings before being promptly flayed. Dropping the books down next to an ever-growing pile, it leans on the back wall and wipes its bony forehead with the sleeve of its over-large, ragged black robes
"Honestly," It rasps, "when it gets like this..."
With a final sigh, it stumbles forward. "Welcome to the lair of Skull Bearer! And as you can see, we're doing a bit of re-furnishing of the biospace. The old one just didn't suit what we were writing any more."
It turns and scowls at something out of the picture. "Since JK Rowling decided to write that piece of trash that was 'Half-Blood Prince', the muses have been on indefinate strike. And it's debatable if they're ever going to write anything Harry Potter based again. The way the books are going, probably never."
"But do not despair. Our old fics are still going to be up here, but I wouldn't hold my breath for an update. Perhaps we'll find a fic to prod the muses, but it's unlikely."
"So, we've been moving all the old HP stuff away and making place for the- far more numerous- Dragonlance gear." It picks up a battered copy of 'Dragons of Winter Night' and grins. "The muses have decided to focus all their energy in continuing 'Ivory and Ebony', and we're accomodating them, after all, Raistlin/Dalamar our favourite slash pairing of ever and all time."
It fidgits and a sound suspiciosly reminicant of 'squeee!' can be heard.
The creature pulls itself together, "Unfortunately, due to Fanfiction.net's rating policy-" It scowls, "Not all of the chapters are available here, those NC-17 rated have had to be posted at Adultfanfiction.net or Skyehawke-" It points down- "and my Livejournal-" It points up- "Otherwise, everything should be there. And I hope you enjoy, and please, for the love of whatever fanfiction pairing you hold dear-" It falls to its knees in a praying position- "REVIEW!"
