Hello, and welcome to my userpage! Last update was on February 16, 2008.

Kyelor is my alias, and I'm a student in university. I've been on fanfiction.net for several years now, and I began writing my first fanfic 'Blading in Time' back in 2003. I have other fanfics in the works as well, but first and foremost, I intend to complete 'Blading in Time' as soon as I can. My other projects are listed below with full descriptions at the end of my profile.

Although I cannot visit fanfiction.net very often during the school year, I do try my best to update and read other fanfiction when I have the opportunity. I believe that every author should be given a chance to express their ideas, as well as make a name for themselves. This is why I try to read and review as many fics as I can, and in the process, I try to leave honest and constructive feedback for my peers (fanfic authors like you!). So, if you're ever looking for advice, or just want someone to read and review your fic, just e-mail or message me and I will be sure to read your fic or answer questions as soon as I can!

Fanfiction Reading Preferences: I really love fanfiction that depicts cute interactions between my favorite characters! The types of genres I prefer include adventure, action, friendship and drama, which also goes for the anime I like to watch. I have a bit of a thing for magical girls. . . especially magical witch girls, like in Ojamajo Doremi! I'm partial to romance fics, and I guess I can TOLERATE Mary Sue fics, BUT ONLY if they are well-written! Unfortunately, this is generally not the case [shudders[. So yeah, I don't particularly like pairings between canon and OC characters, but I'm willing to give every fic a chance, since a few authors can actually pull it off pretty well. I RARELY fave a story (I'm picky about that), but I do fave authors occasionally, especially when I really like their ideas or writing style.

My Writing Style: I'm skilled with formal academic prose (used in research/scientific papers) as well as the more relaxed, casual prose that I use when I'm writing stories, or other similar things. I consider myself to be a concise writer, so I tend to avoid dwelling upon small details, focussing more on an overall perspective instead. My vocabulary is fairly extensive and versatile; however, I strongly believe in using only what words are necessary to get the proper meaning across, since I dislike the way people often muddle their writing with big words that don't quite fit the way they're supposed to. So all in all, I guess you could expect my stories to be pretty light and easy to read. However, by no means does that insinuate that I'm not applying myself! On the contrary, I try to write the best stories I can with the limited amount of time I have. In other words, I generally don't update extremely quickly. But when I do get a chance to update, you'll know I've thought it through thoroughly (ha - unintentional alliteration) and that I've tried hard!

My Published Fanfiction:

Beyblade Play by Play: Kyora's Ultimate Fanfic! a Beyblade fanfiction: My very first COMPLETED fic, and also my first attempt at parody/humor. It portrays an enthusiastic fanfiction author, Kyora-chan, who wants to learn how to write beybattles. It's 2 chapters long, with chapter 1 being the main story and chapter 2 being the epilogue. A quick, light-hearted read with loads of crazy antics and absurd implications. The intention of this fic wasn't necessarily to be funny-haha, but more like funny - what the heck was kyelor thinking?

Blading in Time, a Beyblade fanfiction: Chapters 1-6 were all written back in 2003, but the second half of chapter 7 onward is 2007-present. My original goal was to create a unique plot, but place the most focus upon the relationships between the characters. There won't be any pairings or romance in particular. Only friends, allies, adversaries, and loads of character interaction!

Pokemon Colosseum Prologue: Another Story, a Pokemon Colosseum fanfiction: prologue mapped and completed in 2004. Plot direction still to be determined. This fic will be a side story to the scenario played out in the Gamecube game, Pokemon Colosseum.

Opal Falls (working title), a Pokemon fanfiction: Based on an idea I've had for a while, a story about how Mew befriends a young Pichu and they embark on a journey. Likely to be a short story with around 3-5 chapters.
