Reviews: I love receiving them. I'll take constructive criticism as well as give it. I don't give flames and I don't accept them. Realize that someone who takes the time to give thoughtful criticism with reasonable backing is much more helpful than someone ranting. This site is here to help.
I have a few original poems and short stories at www.fictionpress.com if you're interested (under LilyoftheValley)

STORY UPDATE (Updated 5/15/08): So, I just realized that I haven't even updated this profile this year AND the last update I had was from Halloween of last year and that made me really sad. I wanted to let you all know I'm still around. I've been enjoying reading a lot of fanfics lately than writing myself, but I haven't completely given it up. I am almost finished with my next installment for Have You Forgotten and will hopefully be posting soon. School took up most of my time this year, so I apologize for not updating in an insanely long time. Bear with me. It is my summer, however I will be working so I'll get to updating as soon as I can (which is a pretty arbitrary time frame). All I ask is that you bear with me and keep reading and reviews. Thank you so much for your patience!
Quotes:
"Oh, please tell me you're not one of those people: Because a raindrop fell in the ocean 10,000 years ago and a butterfly farted in India you and I are sitting right here right now enjoying a cup of coffee that tastes like goat piss." ~ Max, Dark Angel
"Float like a Cadillac, sting like a Beamer!" ~Cars
We are Virginia Tech.
We are sad today, and we will be sad for quite a while. We are not moving on, we are embracing our mourning.
We are Virginia Tech.
We are strong enough to stand tall tearlessly, we are brave enough to bend to cry, and we are sad enough to know that we must laugh again.
We are Virginia Tech.
We do not understand this tragedy. We know we did nothing to deserve it, but neither does a child in Africa dying of AIDS, neither do the invisible children walking the night away to avoid being captured by the rogue army, neither does the baby elephant watching his community being devastated for ivory, neither does the Mexican child looking for fresh water, neither does the Appalachian infant killed in the middle of the night in his crib in the home his father built with his own hands being run over by a boulder because the land was destabilized. No one deserves a tragedy.
We are Virginia Tech.
The Hokie Nation embraces our own and reaches out with open heart and hands to those who offer their hearts and minds. We are strong, and brave, and innocent, and unafraid. We are better than we think and not quite what we want to be. We are alive to the imaginations and the possibilities. We will continue to invent the future through our blood and tears and through all our sadness.
We are the Hokies.
We will prevail.
We will prevail.
We will prevail.
We are Virginia Tech.
