I've dabbled in fandom and fanfiction since 1988 when my "gateway drug" was the TV series, "Beauty and the Beast", but looking back I know I've been "a fan" since I was a kid. Loved "Get Smart." Loved "Star Trek." Loved "M.A.S.H." Oh, and absolutely adored Timothy Dalton's version of "Jane Eyre" which led directly to my addiction to all things Austen, and anything Shakespeare with Kenneth Branagh. Latest "love" has been "Twilight", and before that, it was "Harry Potter" (only the written version, not the movies) So maybe we have something in common, or maybe you're just curious to see what a nutter like me has to say.

I will say one thing in case there is any question: I ONLY WRITE CANON! I don't turn vampires into people. I'm true to the canon relationships. I may write some Alternate Universe (AU) stories, but they are still very canon in nature.

Outside of fandom, I'm a mac-unix consultant and am a water advisory commissioner for my township. My husband and I are musicians and started an instrumental music endowment for K-12 public schools. I also create websites for charities and non-profits.

January, 2009 - ANTITHESIS (Twilight)

"In the province of the mind, what one believes to be true either is true or becomes true."

Damaged as a human, heartbroken as an immortal, and unpredictable as a vampire, Rolle has been Edward's friend for over 40 years. When Rolle learns of Edward's love for Bella, he shares a story of his own true love that he lost in tragic car accident. He vows that Edward and Bella will never know the heartache he has endured. From the Author: So, about "Antithesis"... I wanted to explore the loss of true love, but I couldn't do it to Edward and Bella. This story starts at the end of "Twilight" for a couple chapters, then jumps to a (slightly) AU after "Breaking Dawn." It's about 10 years past BD, and really the only thing AU about it is that I haven't included Renesmee. I just don't feel we got to know her well enough. This is my tribute to those who love the Love Story.

December, 2009 - ABSOLUCIÓN (Twilight)

The Cullens realize Rolle's attack on them was staged and that he intended to allow himself to be enslaved by the Volturi in order to keep them safe. When Edward and Bella cannot accept his decision, they try to convince Carlisle to do something for their friend. The family's patron is dealing with his own issues as he faces his disillusionment in all he thought he understood about humanity. Follow Carlisle as he tries to recover from a crisis of faith; Edward and Bella as they learn the price of true love; and the rest of the vampire world as they race to stop catastrophic events that could unravel their world.
