Author has written 1 story for Twilight.

St. John is my happy place. I have an irrational fear of barracudas (both in and out of the water). I'm an elite Boggle player. I'm addicted to Scrabble on Facebook. I buy fancy shoes and clothes I never wear, just to know that I could wear them if I wanted to. I live for sunny weather. I'd rather be hot than cold. The advent of GPS has made city driving almost palatable. I read The Wall Street Journal religiously. Trashy TV is my guilty pleasure. Retail therapy is the best kind of therapy. I miss the days when I had time to play video games. I have at least twenty recipes for chocolate chip cookies and twice that number for macaroni and cheese, but I am still searching for the perfect recipe of each. Fancy cameras please me. Winning isn't everything, but it's important. Playing fairly is more important than winning. A joke isn't funny unless everyone is laughing. I feel guilty that I eat cows, but I really love steak. Gin and tonic with extra lime is my drink of choice.

Writing is how I escape.

Against my better judgment, I am on Twitter as limona007.

News:

12/23/10: The baby came 12/1/10. We're getting used to having a baby in the house again and I hope to start writing again in the new year. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.

9/8/10: Over the last few months, I've been getting a lot of questions about what is up with Hiding in Plain Sight and why I stopped updating. I didn't think it would be necessary to post a status update like this, because I never thought the lack of updates would stretch this long. To all of you left hanging, I apologize. It was never my intention to leave the story there. The story is not dead, more like it is resting while I deal with real life. Here's a quick summary to answer the questions I receive most frequently:

Why can't I give a definitive time when an update will occur? Well, I've tried, but life is unpredictable. And while I know some of you will not believe this, writing the last chapters of this story is hard work. There are a lot of little details that need to come together, and the concentration required has been beyond me for the last several months.

When is the baby due? She's due right around Thanksgiving.

Why didn't I write any steamy scenes during my second trimester? Sadly, my second trimester was more about endurance than steaminess... and endurance doesn't make for great fic.

Will I ever finish? Yes, I swear, I will finish. Even my husband can't believe I haven't finished yet and routinely gives me a hard time.

Why can't I just tell you how it ends so you don't have to think about it anymore? I'm sorry, but I won't reveal the ending while I still intend to finish writing. If at any time I decide not to finish, I will post a summary saying how it would have ended.

Don't I ever think about the readers? Yes, I think about you often. I've received some lovely PMs with well wishes for the baby, and some impatient PMs waiting for an update. All those messages remind me that I have unfinished business with this story and with you.
