Personal Status;

I am 27 years old, single, and working on an original piece that I hope someday to publish. My favorites things are of course writing, reading, fanfiction, playing with my neice and nephew, and watching movies. I am a sweet, creative, helpful person. I am a Christian who strongly loves God, and supports anyone who is LGBT as I am open minded about many things.

I work on fanfiction and original pieces. I'm now diving into Hart of Dixie, Avengers and Thor-Loki fics. I have started a Hart of Dixie fic, and I have a one-shot Thor fic coming.

The good news is I'm more focus on my writing, the bad news, I just really can't pick up in old categories, since I had been distracted so long from them. Maybe someday, but not until I'm reinspired by something, it happens ever once in awhile.

Tips for Fanfiction writing:

Every once in a blue moon I get someone asking my advice, and will be the first to admit that I'm not the best of the best, and if you know your above my level than you probably should ask someone else, but with that said I will let you on some of the things I've learned over the years. It is very possible some of you may disagree with advice, and I'm okay with that. The thing about advice, be respectful and listen but make up your own mind about whether it is right for you or not, not everything ever one is going to tell you is going to work for you.

None of this tips will be in any important order, I'll just write them as they come.

Tip 1

Know your fandom- there are specifics rules for each fandom, and common cliches. Have a vague idea about what they are, read your fanfiction and read the best authors, you be surprise how much you pick up about the rules of grammar and a fandom without knowing it from other authors works. It is good to know some little things like in Gravitation, Yuki calls Shuichi a brat. In naruto Sasuke calls Naruto a baka or idoit and Naruto calls him a Teme or bastard, in Merlin: Arthur usually refers to Merlin as a useless manservant.

Tip 2

Spacing- spacing is more important to others than some, but most would probably agree that it is nice to look at something that is spaced right, but a talent writer can get away with some bad spacing. I personally have a hard time getting in to a story if it isn't spaced right.

Example: Shuichi was driving Yuki nuts as usual, "Brat stop that noise," he yelled. "Aww Yuki, stop being mean to me," Shuichi called back. "Stop being a brat,"

Instead you want to space it out as such:

Shuichi was driving Yuki nuts as usual,"Brat stop that noise," he yelled.

"Aww Yuki, stop being mean to me," Shuichi called back.

"Stop being a brat,"

Tip 3

Don't always use, he said, she said, try to replace the verb for said with he called, yelled, replied, stated and sometimes you don't even have to use such a verb:

Example:

Dennis told Emma about how Jillian was going to be there and he needed to see her.

Emma sighed, "I don't think it is such a good idea,"

"Well, I do," Dennis retorted.

"I don't," Emma said.

"I want to go to the ball game!" he yelled.

If you already know who is talking you don't have to use the verb:

Dennis told Emma about how Jillian was going to be there and he needed to see her.

Emma sighed, "I don't think it is such a good idea."

"Well I do," Dennis retorted.

"I don't,"

"I want to go to the ball game."

We know at the end it is still Dennis and Emma arguing.

When people start using the story archives as a message board. We have forums for that right? I know some people do this to stand up for something I understand but this is not the right place to do this. This is for stories not a message board.

Flamers without any intellegence, especially those that copy and paste. Please if you are going to put my story down, do it with a brain. It is just annoying and gives me great opportunity to laugh at you, along with my friends.

People who write poorly written stories and refuse to take advice. It just drives me nuts to see a poorly written story, but hey I been there, but it makes me want to throw something heavy, nonlethal of course when you refuse to improve it. Anyone makes any suggests I will at least look at it, I do try to fix all mistakes pointed out. I mean I don't say anything because, I'm afraid I will come off as bitchy, because it just puts me in a bad mood. Yes, I know some of the stuff I write not so amazing, but I do at least take your suggests, and most of the time I try to improve, I mean things happen, I understand, sometimes you just write bad, because it was a difficult chapter, but come on, if you can't capitalize properly and english is your first language then just stop writing. I've seen english as a second language writers write a hell of lot better than some of the crap that is posted.

OC's do annoy me, when they are not written for a purpose. I have seen some amazing OC's, that I absolutely love, forunately I rarely run to bad ones, but they do exist.
