I'm Melissa.

I'm horrible at updating. If you've read my stories, you've probably wanted to kill me for it.

I write fanfiction for Phantom Stallion, and I believe that Terri Farley did all of us a great disservice at the end of Run Away Home by not clearly stating whether or not Sam and Jake get together. It kills me every time I reread the book. ...But I still think she's an incredible writer.

I love reading. I love writing. I love music. And I love watching movies.

My favorite authors:

Terri Farley (of course) - Wild Horse Island is fantastic, but my heart belongs to The Phantom Stallion series.

J.K. Rowling - Who doesn't love Harry Potter? The 7th book was heartbreakingly amazing. Although...I don't know if I'll ever be able to forgive her for killing off Fred. Or Dobby.

Tamora Pierce - I've read them all, but the Circle of Magic books just don't do it for me as mch as the Tortallan heroines.

Meredith Ann Pierce ( Apparently, there's no relation between her and Tamora : )- Her Firebringer trilogy is Out. Of. This. World. ...Literally.

Oscar Wilde - Particularly The Importance of Being Earnest and The Picture of Dorian Grey.

Scott Westerfeld - If you haven't read his Uglies trilogy, you need to. It's a little SciFi...but it's still good. So, don't knock it till you've tried it. :)

Joanna Campbell - If you love horses, you should read her Thoroughbred Series. It's very long, a little north of 70 books, and it gets pretty ...lax towards the end. but the series starts out awesome, so I'm still counting it as one of my favorite horse-based series ever.

My music taste is very diversified. Everything, from Rascal Flatts (country) to Pit Bull (hip hop/rap) to All That Remains and Marilyn Manson (metal), can be found on my iPod.

To me, different types of music evoke different emotions, and I devour all of it greedily, since it's difficult for me to find those emotions elsewhere in the world. I love music. PERIOD.

I can't really list all my favorite movies. There are too many.

A little about me:

Name - Melissa. I go by my last name to my friends, but you guys can just call me Melissa.

Gender - Female. Obviously.

Height - Around 5'2" / 5'3"-ish.

Weight - About 110 lbs. I've been losing a lot of weight lately, for no reason. It's worrying me a little, since I'm supposed to be gaining the Freshman 15, not losing it.

Eye Color - Chocolate brown, with a little bit of green...if you look closely enough. :)

Hair Color - Brown. And it's all natural. No artificial hair dye has ever been NEAR my head.

Nationality - I'm Irish and Italian. But mostly Italian. (3/4) Something I'm immensely proud of.

Origin - I live in America. Southern California to be exact. No, I don't know a movie star and No, I don't go to the beach everyday.

Story Status:

Whispers of a Mourning Sky (WMS) -- NOT ON HIATUS. I'm still writing for it, it's just taking me a while due to my inability to split my focus on too many things at one time. Chapter 4 is in the works. Never fear my faithful readers. Also, I'll be looking for numerous Beta readers for this story. I have one interested, and I'll definitely be using them...but I'd like more than one person's opinion before I post a new chapter.

SE7EN -- In Progress. A series of short oneshots featuring one of the Seven Deadly Sins in each chapter. May change later on. I might add more to it. I don't know yet. Right now, it's just a way for me to get away from WMS for a while.

Amore -- I'm starting another series of oneshots, featuring Sam (of course) and pairing her with pretty much every male in the series. It's new. Cut me some slack. :D
