It makes me wanna shake someone and say, "Come up with something NEW already!" But this is all just my opinion, you don't have to agree with me. Halo/Mass Effect Crossovers: Okay, this is one idea that's been done God knows how many times. There are over 200 of these and most of them depict either the UNSC making contact with the Citadel Council and going to war with them briefly before trying to make friends with them or the Chief and Cortana going into the Mass Effect universe on the Forward Unto Dawn. Seriously, enough is enough! Come up with a different crossover for these games people! Character bashing stories: Okay, these REALLY irk me to no end. I understand that people have characters they absolutely detest and I hate a few characters myself; but I don't go out of my way to write a story for the simple idea of either making them look bad, killing them off, or torturing them in ways that would be considered crimes against humanity. If you don't like a said character, fine that's your opinion. But when characters YOU like are the ones being bashed, don't you wanna strangle the person doing the bashing? Yeah, I thought so. Crossovers with Naruto, Harry Potter, and other stuff like them: Seriously, these series has been crossed over with practically EVERYTHING! Some crossovers are even with stories involving the BIBLE for goodness sake! Some of these crossover ideas JUST DON'T WORK! How anyone can make some of these crossovers work is BEYOND me! So why bother making them? I ask you, why? Harem fanfics: Okay, I can understand the concept of a Harem anime/manga story so as to make the main guy character's life one love triangle after another, but to give a character like Naruto an entire Harem where they all have his love? Seriously, save some of these ladies for the OTHER guys! Two people make a couple, Three's a crowd, 4 or more is WAY too much! Even when the guy has his heart set on a single girl other people decide to pair him up with the other girls in his harem or make him have sex with all of them. I've seen way to much of those, especially in Naruto! I'm the kind of guy who believes a guy should be a one-woman's-man type. Once he wins the girl of his dreams, that's it unless something breaks them up. | |||||||||
