29 April 2008 - Yes, I'm still here. I've been distracted by making AMVs! You can find the AMVs I've been making at www.youtube.com under the channel, "Plothooksinc". Most are TMNT, but there's a Ruroken one and an Avatar: The Last Airbender one as well. _
I'm getting back into the swing of writing again now, so be patient - ALL stories that are unfinished will eventually be wrapped up. (Yes, this includes Snowblind.) I will ask here, politely, that those people who feel the need to be snide because I have either a) a life, or b) choose to work on a fic they don't like first, please remember that I'm doing this because I want to, and while I love writing stories for people my enthusiasm for doing so wanes when some of those people tend to give me imperious demands or scorn regarding my choices in fiction.
Most of you still rock hardcore, of course. :D Have a good day!
6 January 2008 - Please note that as of today I am on a backpacking holiday. Therefore I will obviously not be updating any fics until I return! Look for me in a month or two...
8 June 2007 - :cough: Yes well. You might have noticed I started writing about green turtley ninja types. Remember my note in TJ where I said I hadn't written fanfic in 12 years? Well, the fanfic I used to write was TMNT. So technically, that is my first fandom. Hehe. I have no intention of dropping Ruroken though, so don't fear on that front. It's just that while I'm very interested in TMNT, the muse for writing TMNT fics is going to drown out all others. Be patient. (...unless of course you like TMNT, in which case ..uh ...enjoy!)
10 January 2007 - Hope everyone had a good New Year and Christmas. Okay, the bad news is that I'm pretty much stuck on Snowblind, and while I wish that wasn't the case you'll have to bear with me while I try and work through my writer's block. I have no problems with The Zaibatsu Project ... I'm guessing one is much easier to write than the other. (It's taken me 18 months to write what I have on Snowblind. Eesh.) So I'm sorry that the story appears to have been stalled. It's still in progress, however, so hopefully this will just be a mini-hiatus or something.
30 September 2006 - Busy busy busy. Just a quick note: someone sent me a PM in the last couple of weeks re: Zaibatsu and its connections to Shadowrun/Cyberpunk. I ended up deleting it because I thought it was a review, but if it was a review it hasn't ever showed up. And I can't for the life of me remember the name. If you posted this message, I'm sorry I didn't reply back - feel free to send me another.
11 August 2006 - Life is looking up. Whee! This means my muse is in high drive, and so hopefully delays will be cut in half (at the very least). Also, I've begun writing a new story, but due to the formatting issues I'd have with it on this site - not to mention the far-out, AU concept that might get me lynched - I am posting it on livejournal. If you've any interest in seeing what it's about, go here: http://community.livejournal.com/zaibatsuproject . It's futuristic. o.0 Still Rurouni Kenshin, though. Yes, you may shoot me now. Snowblind is still top priority, so don't worry that I'll get too distracted. I like to finish one story before I get fully involved in another, after all.
Oh, and Katherine: if you ever read my author's bio :P - you left a review requesting permission to do a little interlude/spinoff thingy for TJ. Um, yes! Heh. You can, and I'd be incredibly flattered if you did Email me at the above address if you read this.
See you soon!
Further projects:
Many. Hehehe.
:proud member of the Kill QuickEdit Clan: See BakaBokken's profile for details.
Some sites you should be aware of! Seeing as I'm posting at two other fic sites, I feel it's only fair to advertise them here.
www.hakubaikou.com - which most of you will know already, and also hosts a plethora of fabulous art, not the least of which being haku baikou's - this woman's art is gorgeous, I can't say it enough.
www.meijitales.com - this is a new one, which you can submit fics to. It also hosts an RK forum, and will be taking over the RKRC awards! So go say hi already!
http://community.livejournal.com/zaibatsuproject/profile - the original site for The Zaibatsu Project, much further along than it is here. Go! Read!
Okay, I'm done. :wanders off to write some more: Damn chapters...
