Author has written 15 stories for Harry Potter, and Lord of the Rings. News : August 12th 2007: I am gradually uploading all fics written within the past 18 months to this site. April 25th 2006: I have just uploaded Chapter Eighteen of With a Little Help from My Friends. And yes, something big happens in it. February 2nd 2006: I'm updating all of my new fics in the Harry Potter universe to FictionAlley. I will, however, continue my existing fics here. Something made me crawl back into my With a Little Help from My Friends universe and I hope to have something new from that up soon. If you want to read my one-shots before they are updated to FictionAlley, I will be posting them in my public fanfiction the second I finish them. The address is the link in my homepage. November 29th 2005: I will not be updating any of my chapter fics until after Christmas. I'm working part-time and writing a bunch of one shots for people on my Livejournal flist. Some of those will be updated here, others to my FictionAlley account. September 3rd 2005: I have uploaded two new one shots, Bad Timing and Coffee and Casts. I will not be uploading any new chapters of Love Actually in the Potterverse. Instead, you can find those on my FictionAlley account (still with the same penname). So far I have uploaded a prologue and the first chapter, the first chapter containing addition scenes to the fanfiction.net version. July 31st 2005: My With a Little Help from My Friends plot bunny is being muscled out by a fic dealing withthe golden trio's seventh year, set mostly in Beauxbatons and tentatively titled Coup de Grâce. I do have plans to finish With a Little Help from My Friends. I'm just struggling with the sixteenth and seventeenth chapters and have decided to put it on the backburner while I concentrate on other fics. Profile: I am a Linguistics major/grammar nazi at the edge of the world, New Zealand. I speak English and Italian passably well and (now possessing two modes of communication courtesy of ten months in Rome) have trouble shutting up in either language. French conversation classes are a completely different story. In those I huddle somewhere near the radiator in the back of the room and pray for the tutor not to call on me. I do however write the language passably well and love to read in French. I have lived on three different continents and plan to contribute to the brain drain of this country as soon as I have my diploma and some money saved. I'm hoping to eventually work as an English teacher in Europe. My Fanfiction Status: Although because I don't have access to a computer with internet access, I do not have a lot of time to read works by other authors, I still like to be surprised by reviews. Usually I try to return in kind but at the moment it is not possible. Yes, I'm a taker ;-) Living in a variety of cultures means that I am a fairly open and tolerant person, however, that does not carry over to Mary Sues and generally bad fic. I do not flame, but if I find a fic that reeks to high heaven, I will tactfully but firmly point this out. I am a member of the ubercaustic Livejournal community, Deleterius. If you have the misfortune to have one of your fics sporked by me, I will not be completely hard-hearted and will always leave you a constructive review of ways I believe your fic could be improved. My Pairing Policy: Like most other writers I am biased when it comes to pairings and do have my favourites: some common (Remus/Tonks) and some not-so-common (Dean/Hermione?). However, I am open to reading about any pairing as long as it's well-written and am not adverse to writing against my OTPs myself. I will never criticise a fic simply because it has a pairing I don't like and will not appreciate such behaviour towards my own fics. If you feel that strongly against a particular pairing, don't read the fic! Simple. One Last Thing: I've left my email address so that reviewers or other writers can contact me if they have a question or a comment to make about something I've written.
