Team Voltskull for the win!

It seems that people are putting their favourite Pokémon top 10 here so I am going to join them

10: Combee is the only pre-evolved Pokémon on this list. I think it is the cutest Pokémon out there and, although it's weak, I take pride in my collection of them.
9: Mawile's Jaw is something to take pride over. Having one of them would be intimidating to just about everyone.
8: Toxicroak is dominant in a battle. I love the idea of a toxic fighter. Unfortunately, it's 4x psychic weakness shuts it down, but nonetheless I love it.
7: Breloom. A drug addicts nightmare - the shroom that fights back. You've gotta respect the fists on this funghi.
6: Exploud is a fitting name. It looks like a beefy church organ, and has a gaping mouth which for some reason appeals to me greatly.
5: Crustle is one of those pokemon that fascinates me. I love the way it looks - large and defensive.
4: Scrafty may cause many to groan, being from gen V, but theres something about its teenage look that appealed to my interest. Its vacant look reminds me of me!
3: Poliwrath is my childhood source of opponent fatalities. A strong contender in my top 10.
2: Gardevoir. I envied Wally catching his Ralts so I spent about an hour looking for my own. I have at least one on every game I own.
1: Gallade has gotta be my favourite. Gardevoir was my favourite until gen IV but when I saw the more masculin version, i was hooked.

Also, you might notice my top 10 is dominated by fighting types. Fighting types are my favourite, purely because of the imaginary fights I can see in my mind. They wrestle and block, punch and jump. In my head, a whole tournament is taking place, each competitor a mass of brawn or agility. Heeheehee...
