About me: I have a wonderful family (2 beautiful little girls) and a job that I love (most of the time) at a Christian Charity in Manchester, England. My husband is fab and perfect for me. He is my very own Clark Kent/Superman and (mostly) shares my obsessions. These obsessions range over fantasy and sci-fi and disaster movies and disney and musicals. They also range in intensity. I'm going to tell you about my BIGGEST obsession: Superman.

I'm a massive Superman fan. I guess my love of Superman started with the Christopher Reeve films. It grew to large proportions with Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. While this was still on TV (or very soon after it finished) I discovered a book called The Death and Life of Superman. As I loved L&C I decided to buy it. I read it in one day and my fandom increased to 'almost' obsession. Back at university soon after this I walked past a 'Forbidden Planet' and noticed some Superman comics in the window. This was all new to me. My home town has no such thing as comics. When I walked in I was stunned. Anyway - suffice it to say that I got hooked on the Superman comics after that and I fell in love, almost literally. Superman is just ... Super. By this time I'm not sure whether I could quite call it an obsession, but it was close.

There was one final item to be added in to the pot and it was little programme which appeared out of no-where on Channel 4 at New Year 2001. It bowled me over and my fandom most definitely turned into obsession.

That programme was Smallville.

Writing: I've always loved reading books and felt drawn to writing but English was my worst subject at school so I never persued it. For many years I attempted to jot down ideas and sometimes they pushed out of the end of a pen in a very immature form. A few years ago I actually joined a writers circle where I really enjoyed writing short stories (mostly for children) and began to develop my talent. My obsession with Smallville led me to the FanFiction section on a forum and then I was lost. I spent all my time reading Clois stories to fulfil my addiction to their love story. When Season 9 ended I started to imagine how it could continue in my head. The hour journey to work became a time that I could work on the idea and so, eventually, I gave in to the urge to write the story which became 'Who Do You Love?'. Once it was finished I found that I was beset by another idea ... so I started my 'Epic homage' fic - Band of Blue. And now there's no going back as I have been unable to stop the ideas from filling my brain since.

In Sept 2011 I was approached by some friends to become involved in a large project to continue the Smallville story on into Metropolis. We have been working on this for months and its time to start posting it.

Series Summary: As the world recovers from the threat of Apocalypse a new Superhero takes to the skies and reveals himself to the world. There are more challenges still to come, though, in the form of old and new villains and a newly resurrected adversary. This is my tribute to all things Superman. It is based in the Smallville Universe but there are plenty of tributes and references to Lois&Clark, the movies and the comics.

Mr Right or Mr 'Right Now'

Summary: Lois is determined to wait for Mr Right, but it's so hard when the gorgeous guy who sits opposite looks at her like he wants to take her 'right now'.

The Wedding Pact

Summary: Clark and Lois vow to marry each other at 30 if they haven't found anyone else. It's getting close to Clark's birthday and Lois keeps setting him up on dates. Is she dreading marrying him so much?

Remember

Summary: Lois disappears from existence. Can Clark break through whatever caused it to bring back his true memory and his true love? Post Finale - Acts like a Season 11 episode. This is based extremely loosely on the 'Remember Me' episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation and also on the 'Chainfire' Trilogy which ended The Sword of Truth fantasy series by Terry Goodkind. If you like one or the other of them then read on ... you may enjoy this. If you don't like them then STILL read on as the story is only tentatively, loosely, vaguely, barely based on those stories.

Summary: Clark is blind to what is right in front of him. A funny, a sad and a sexy scene based on actual scenes from the show. Scenes from episodes starting with the letter 'I'. ('The eyes have it' was a Lois and Clark episode where Superman is physically blinded by a light.) In these three scenes I've chosen Clark is blind to what is right in front of him for the first two. He knows what he's got by the third.

Snowed In

Summary: Snow blocks the roadways and Lois has to stay at the farm. What secrets will come out? Set at the beginning of Season 9 - before Crossfire has happened.

Summary: A reveal story with a difference. Set way after Season 10. The main character in this story is neither Lois nor Clark … but it's still very much a Clois story.
