Just a quick reminder that I still have my mediaminer.org account, and my nickname is Black Rose Lady on that site because, unfortunately for me, mm.org doesn't allow me to change my nickname, despite the fact that I picked it out when I was thirteen years old...grumbles

When I write fanfiction:

Please forgive me for my late (or nonexistant) updates...Despite how much I love my stories, my life outside the internet takes presidence. Also, I am a complete accident magnet when it comes to my computer. Let me just say that I have a repair man on speed-dial, sigh.

Also please accept my apology for bad grammar, spelling errors, and the general mistakes in my earlier work...I decided not to delete them because I like to look back and (after the initial cringe and urge to burn my eyes out) realize how much I've grown. Only This and Nothing More IS being re-worked, because I re-read one chapter and my head started spinning like "Poltergeist." Please be patient. It will be edited and updated.

When I write, I'm not afraid to shy away from the gritty, gory details. If anything I like to paint the most vivid picture possible...However, I rarely write anything that could be considered "dark" or "angst-y." It just doesn't seem to be my style, although I wouldn't be opposed to writing it someday. I prefer action, adventure, a good romance, a touch of sarcasm, and a splash of general humor.

For every chapter I write, I try to throw in one phrase that really strikes a chord with me or one mental image that I want to stick with the reader...something that I feel is particularly genius, creative, or all-around fabulous. Some people catch on to them and comment them, others might breeze over them, but they are there!

I try to focus on the emotion of the characters...what they're feeling, how they're feeling it, and why they're feeling it (See? Rule of Three in action again!). I don't think my writing is very technical...I try to write in a way that will allow the reader to feel the wind on their face, to feel the adrenaline rush that comes along with fear, anger, and anxiety. When I write, I am experiencing all of the emotions as if they were happening to me and I feel that, as a writer, it is my duty to attempt to pass these emotions along, because without them my stories are hollow.

On a personal note...

I'm out-going, out-spoken, and out-of-my-mind...although that last one is debatable.

The Rule of Three is forever engraved in my head, and despite how annoying it can be sometimes, I know my grammar is better off because of it.

I have three muses but believe me, quantity over quality isn't always a good thing. Normally they like to take refuge under either the pile of dirty laundry in the corner or under my bed. They won't come out and help me unless I give them chocolate. If I try to force them to make an appearance, random items are chucked at my head...with surprising accuracy, I might note.

If you think my mass of un-finished, un-updated fics is bad, you should see the folder on my desktop...At last count, I had over 100 fics that I've barely begun...

Talking in "text" is the best way to get smacked when one is around me...one of my best friends does it and she can attest.

I'm open minded to new ideas but not so much that my brain falls out.

The BEST fanfiction I have read so far...It's a YYH/IY with a Kag/Kur/Youko pairing. It's the type of story that will make you laugh so hard you pee your pants, if you have a sarcastic sense of humor. As for my Stories Status...er...uh...the lookout is sort of bleak...

Let me just say that my updating style is like an affair: it's fast, it's good, and then it's over and somebody's been hurt. Usually it's me, because my muses like to throw things from their hiding spots under my laundry pile before retreating back to the worlds from whence they came.

Only This and Nothing More: It's being edited at this exact moment and is being re-posted as fast as I can manage it!

Unto the Few: ...I haven't touched this one in months, but I have a spectacular ending already written! ...Now if I could just finish the middle parts...

All other fics are currently on permanent hiatus or complete.

I won't lie and say that I will update frequently, regularly, or even at all. Please be patient and understanding, as so many of you wonderful readers and reveiwers already are.
