Author has written 19 stories for Xena: Warrior Princess, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Angel, Roswell, Harry Potter, and Stargate: SG-1. Wow, you wanna know about me? Okay. Well, you can probably find out anything you want to know about me by going to my homepage (linked above). If you really don't feel like it, here are the basics. I'm 33, female, and I love movies, reading, and writing. There are many other things I enjoy, but I won't bother with them now (though I am on Facebook, and you're more than welcome to visit: http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/a.jean.clayton.rana?ref=profile ) I have a full-time job at a homeless shelter, a Bachelor's degree in English Literature, a British fiance, an apartment and three cats, so new stories are sort of few and far between. Especially since I never post anything without first having finished the entire story. But you're welcome to read any of the already-posted 19 fics. I'd like to thank everyone who voted for "Character" in the 2006 Stargate Fan Awards. It won 1st place in the category of Best Action / Adventure in the Jack / Sam ship category! This is the first fic I've ever had nominated that actually won, and I just want to say thanks again to everyone who read and voted for it. :) I previously had a status list here, detailing where a number of my fics stood. Unfortunately I must finally just confess that I've not written fanfic in quite awhile, and don't look to be returning to it any time soon. Lack of time used to be my biggest problem, and now it's lack of inspiration. Which is not to say I don't have story ideas! I have a third of "Tools of War" written (the sequel to my SG-1 fic "Character"), the prologue and first chapter of an Angel fic called "The Fallen", and scads of outlines, including 2 Roswell fics, at least one SG-1, a re-write of Alien 3 and a sequel to the movie "The Forsaken". But fellow fanfic writers will understand when I say that you really just have to be in the writing zone. You have to feel inspired and desperate to get feelings and observations down on paper...or into a Word document, in our case...before you lose them. And I've got this odd little quirk where I have a hard time being artistic (sketching, writing, whatever) when I'm not depressed, lol. And for the past couple of years I've been more or less happy. Combine that with a lack of any recent obsession (aside from Twilight, but there are so few original ideas left for fics there...), and I'm just out. So...unless my fiance leaves me standing at the altar, or I lose my job, or my apartment burns down or something, I'm on hiatus.
