Author has written 4 stories for Higher Ground. Hola! My name is Lauren, and I've been an author here at ff.net for a few years now. Although my taste in television shows/movies vary, and my ideas for such are UNLIMITED...my specialty is my all-time favorite show: HIGHER GROUND! I'm a huge S&S fan, but I think the other couples are cute, also. I loved all of the characters on the show, and I adored the fact that Higher Ground was such a show of inspiration. Unfortunately, FFC (or ABC Family, whoever is heading up the pathetic excuse for primetime television) has canceled HG, and all I have as remnants of the show are my complete season 1 on videotape...the world of fanfiction...and my ever-growing imagination. I know that I'm not exactly prompt about updating...but I WILL get around to it, I promise! In the meantime, drop me a line, leave me a review. I truly value your opinion!

-FuMbLiNg ToWaRdS EcStAsY-- I know that I have been neglecting this story, but I AM working on updating! I have known for a about a year how I want to end it, so I'm thinking there will be probably be about 5 more chapters. In the meantime, please be patient, guys!

Please be sensitive to the fact that Brenna maintains a billion websites (click on her profile for the links) and is just a busy person anyway. And me--I'm just lazy...but I do have a life none-the-less. Brenna and I are both dedicated people, so I assure you that SOME DAY T.S.A.S.N. will be updated!
FUTURE PROJECTS:

-S&S futuristic fic I've been plotting in my head for a while... basically it takes place outside of Horizon, and Scott and Shelby, who are not together, learn to stay true to themselves. Look for that hopefully this summer...or whenever FTE is finished!
-Midsummer Night's Dream: Horizon/Modern-style--has all HG characters but no Horizon; it will take place at a regular high school. Basically it goes along with M.S.N.D's plot but my words... it will be a modern-day Shakespeare...Horizon-style! This will uploaded after my futuristic S&S is finished.
-*MAYBE* Higher Ground: Season 2--I LOVE reading season 2 HG stories, and I have produced various ideas for one. The only problem I have is opening too many plots...it would be an ENTIRE season, so I'd have to deal with each of the characters. That takes a lot of time, effort and patience-all things I'm not equipped with! However, I'd like to deal with the Horizon "unmentionables" (sex, drugs, etc.), and I'd use these in the story. So I'll mark that as a MAYBE...if I do go through with it, it'll be posted after Midsummer's Night Dream. In the meantime, I'll be brainstorming for it.
