Author has written 21 stories for X-Men, Dragon Ball Z, Princess Mononoke, Bleach, Xenosaga, Death Note, and Harry Potter. May 15, 2009 I am an official college graduate. Yay for me. Now I have time to actually do things that I want to do. Like writing, both fan fiction (to try new tricks and improve my writing) and actual fiction (to, you know, write actual fiction). As such, here are some new status updates (note: stuff below the line hasn't changed unless otherwise marked with a new date). Butterbeer and Other Stories: I'm preparing the short piece for the Sweetest Irony contest for May (Anniversary). Tentative title: Pictures Ghosts and Machines: tentative title for a multi-chapter Evangelion story. Inspiration came from cleaning my room and organizing my NGE figures on my shelf in such a way that it inspired a scene that resulted in a story idea. Not sure how long it'll be. First draft of the prologue is written, and may upload it as a test to see what kind of response I'll get from it. The Day the Whole World Went Away, one shot - this thing has been in development limbo for years. One file says I started this in October 2004, which maybe right, given I didn't do much during my Year of Hell besides start and stop things. I will someday get this thing finished, because I like the setting for it, and I want to expand on my characterizations. We'll see how it goes. I'll get cracking on this soon again. Status: 10 percent. ON HOLD (May 15: I found my old notes for this story. I may launch into this after I conclude the May SI one-shot. March 29 update: this is why I came back. I decided that I may as well get into this again, just because I feel that I want to write this story. It's still on hold though, so that CAPS LOCK will stay for the time being.) Oceanic - this is an album fic. Nine tracks/chapters, covering what I plan on being over 60,000 words. Bleach universe, Ichigo x Rukia... and that's all I'm telling you. Currently being plotted, hopefully written completely by the end of the summer and launched for all to see. (March 29 update: I shipped this off to GD after writing exactly 3500 words, to which she said that it wasn't bad, but it follows the storyline too much, which is probably why you're stumped as anything. I will have to reread it and see what I will decide about it, because I haven't looked at this thing in almost a year.) Untitled Harry Potter oneshot, Ron x Hermione - completely written, though never edited, and still without a title too. I'm wondering if I'll actually post this thing someday. I'll take a look and get back to you on it. (March 29 update: same as before. I'm tempted to upload as "Untitled" and let it be. It's not very good anyway. I'll probably ship this off to GD to see what she thinks.) Night of a Thousand Horses, Chapter six (of seven) - ON HOLD. I'm finding it very hard to continue this. I'll reread what I have and make an official decision on that eventually. (March 29 update: same.) Parallel and Perpendicular, Chapter Two - I spent a little bit of time adding some words to this. I actually had a lot more than I thought I did, which I'm glad about. I have some big plans for this chapter... whenever it comes out, that is. Status: taking a look at the overall picture, I'm figuring ten total parts, though that may change as I write it. Three have been written so far. I will say this is 25 percent complete. ON HOLD (March 29 update: same. I may come back to this at some point. Again, I need to reread what I have so far to see where I'm at and where to proceed.) Parallel and Perpendicular: Meanwhile... - this will tie into chapter two, but I'm not going to explain how. You'll just have to wait until I get to it. Currently in the planning stages.
