Hiya from New Zealand. Yep, its as pretty as the film, but a bit more populated.
I'm an ancient and decrepid fan who read LOTR first in 1969. Before almost everyone's time, I know.
I've read that book ever since.
Also I've read a few other books (inches sideways between teetering heaps in a vain effort to reach the bedroom etc)
I wrote Star Trek TNG before the internet, then posted a bit a few years ago (still before most of your times, I know.)
I have three children all near grown, been married to the same man for twenty three years, and work with disabled children. The rut is pretty deep, huh.
Read everyone on my fav list, they rock.
