Dear readers of La Petite Mort: this story is NOT abandoned! It will not be updated soon, per se, since I have had half of the next chapter written for over a year but due to computer problems, left the disk it was stored on halfway across the country. I wrote that shit, damn it, and I'm not going to rewrite it, so I just have to wait until I get the files back. I'll probably be able to work on it again this summer. (Shit happens, okay.)

I'm a music student at university; needless to say, my time is limited. Reading fanfiction is a stress reliever, and I do it more often than I should, but my updates will be slow. If it bothers you, stop reading. I don't give a shit.

It's no secret that I don't suffer fools well. No, I will not be your beta or read your story if you ask. I don't have time, and if you ask, it usually means your shit sucks. If you're an idiot, I'm not going to fawn over you just because you leave me a review. I write fanfiction for recreation and as a warmup for "real" writing, not in a vain effort to seek validation from anonymous people who cannot spell. I appreciate thoughtful, intelligent criticism, though, and will return it in kind.

And for anyone looking for Jetslinger's bitchy beta: you found her. If I made you cry or something, feel free to tell me about it. It'll make make my day. Don't whine about me to him, because neither of us care, and don't leave anonymous reviews to avoid me. ff.net is full of pussies, I swear.

And on that note, I find that I must impart a further comment on Jetslinger's status. That this is necessary is sickening, but do us a solid and read the following:

Nothing you can say will bring Jetslinger back to fanfiction. He’s a total flake, so he might return one day, but when he does, it will be the genesis of something new. We have to find new n00bs to mock, after all. You all are getting old. Stalking and death threats are unoriginal. Neither finding his personal email address nor PMing me about him show impressive initiative; such actions prove only that you are a fucking creeper. Get out of our faces. The end.
