4/15/09 - I'm feel like such a terrible author. It's been months since I've uploaded a chapter and I'm only updating my profile to inform all you good people that I still don't have any finished chapters to upload. T_T So awful, I know. I had to restart the second chapter of UC because it really wasn't flowing right. Sadly, I didn't get very far on that. And to be honest, I actually forgot about Strength of a Man, Strength of a Village. I'm not even sure which folder I saved it into. I know there's a partial chapter saved around here somewhere... :sends tracking dogs to search for lost story: To make matters worse, I'm working on another (yes, another) new story. The good news is that it's written down in several notebooks so I'm not starting from scratch. The bad news is that I'm basically rewriting the whole thing. But I don't plan on posting that one until I have a few chapters done.

Stories In Progress:

Unfinished Composition: AU. 5 years after becoming blind the young music teacher, Uzumaki Naruto, finds a duet partner in his new assistant, Uchiha Sasuke. But when the curtains rise, the violin is silent. Shounen-ai/Yaoi. SasuNaru, implied KakaIru.

Inspiration for my current story was extremely random. I was watching SasuNaru slideshows on YouTube when I saw... a hand! Yep, Naruto's hand. He was kinda covering his face in embarrassment. For some reason (and despite my lack of skills), I drew a similar hand pose. But a hand by itself is kinda lame so I extended it and drew Naruto with his hand over his chest. And then I got the crazy idea to make him a blind music teacher and thus this story was born!

Strength of a Man, Strength of a Village: Konohamaru learns what it truly means to be Hokage when the Rokudaime, Uzumaki Naruto, makes the ultimate sacrifice for his village. No pairings, multi chapter.

~~This was originally intended as a one-shot but will most likely be 3 chapters total. Naruto is slightly OOC but that was partly intentional - now that he's Hokage, his demeanor has changed somewhat.

I can safely say that I have no idea where the inspiration for this story came from, but it happened while I was in the shower (which is not uncommon for me). I know I said I'd try to do a chapter a week for UC but this story insisted that I give it my undivided attention.

Completed Stories:

One Last Sunrise: Sasuke eagerly awaits his fight with Naruto, but is suprised when "Konoha's number one loud mouth ninja" makes an odd request. One-shot, no pairings.

This also has a random story behind it as well. I found a pic on DeviantArt of Karou (I think), from Neon Genesis Evangelion by Yuumei, which was entitled "One Last Sunset." And once again, I got the crazy idea for a completely unrelated story.

Abandoned Stories (at least for now):

The Pain of Love, The Love of Pain: Yugi unleashes the spirit of the puzzle and is granted eternal love. But will he accept it, or will he deny his true feelings and ruin everything? SHONEN-AI/YAOI!

I started this story ages ago but never finished it. After reading the story again recently, I realized two thing. 1 - I have no idea where I was going with the plot and 2 - the story is pretty crap-tacular. I'm tempted to just remove it from FF.net but retain the possibility that I might actually finish it one day (or not).
