I have been gone from the fanfiction community for a very long time. I really, seriously, needed the time away. I was very young when I started writing fanfiction, and it took up a very large part of my life. However, when I began growing up, I no longer had as much time as I once did to devote to it, and was forced to adjust accordingly. I am back now, but I will definitely not be updating with such rapidity - and such regularity - as I did before. I have many other obligations to fulfill now and I simply cannot put as much time into fanfiction as I used to.

So, you may be wondering, what's the deal with my stories? Why are they hanging about into nothingness? What am I going to do?

I want to finish out Broken Teacups. Upon rereading, chapters 1-5 were no longer up to my standards, so in late March of 2006 I revised them and with luck improved them. I am at this time also writing new material, but do not look for regular updates, as such things are no longer possible for me. It will, however slowly, be completed.

A Gift of Sight was one of the first fanfics I ever wrote, and after a bit of thinking I decided that I truly felt that the writing was sub-par, and the thought of people reading it shamed me. I removed it from this site on May 5, 2006. In January of 2007 I began to do a rewrite, as I felt that the initial concept of the story did have some promise, but that an extremely unskilled execution of said concept had been the piece's downfall. I am in the process of reworking this story and the first two parts have now been posted.

As of January 26, 2007, A Minor Incident has also been removed. I began writing it mostly out of irritation with Mary-Sue authors and raving MPreggers who had unhealthy Legolas obsessions - it was my answer to them, in a way. It was never really intended to become a full-fledged story and once the initial glee at doing something so sacrilegious wore off I found it impossible to continue. In addition the writing was not that great; I felt that it no longer merited being posted here.

Forged of Steel is a special case, really. I have vauge hints as to where it ought to go, but nothing more. I may continue it; I may remove it and abandon it altogether. I have not yet decided.
