Extra, Extra: Interview with the Authors
- hosted by Hime, Outlaw turned Prince, and our so-called Frustrated Villain

Q1: Do you love writing?

tuNGaw-GiRL says: Well, I love to write. Definitely!
jervaulx says: I'm not at all sure myself. I often think of it as a talent; a curse, on occasion. Either way, I still write. Do you think I love it if I still do? You decide.

Q2: Why do you write?

tuNGaw-GiRL says: Before, the reason why I write is because I'm so EMO back then. LOL. I think that was in high school. Not exactly a pretty story, is it. Then again, looking back, I guess the main reason why I write is because I want to express myself through writing. I'm not exactly outspoken; used to keep everything inside. The only thing that keeps me from going insane before was writing. And I think that still apply nowadays., Only I'm not EMO now. LOL.
jervaulx says: Ehem. Why do I write? Like Q1, I'm not sure - I don't really know. It all started when I discovered the LCdO fandom actually. After reading a dozen or two stories, I decided to join in as well. Remember, I was an amateur that time - totally inexperienced and naive. I'm still wondering how I survived back then. And there started my writing escapade :) And like my partner, I'm not very outspoken - you can call it lack of confidence.

Q3: What is the history of your pseudonym?

tuNGaw-GiRL says: I decided to make tungaw_girl as my pseudonym because the pseudonym of my favorite artist in Questor is 'Tungaw'. I thought it sounds cool despite its true meaning. I improvised it and made it tungaw_girl, since I'm a girl.
jervaulx says: I decided to change my previous penname to the title of my favorite character.

Q4: What can you say about your first entry in FFnet?

tuNGaw-GiRL says: My first entry? It was 'Here Comes the Dead' for the HOTD fandom and honestly, I'm really satisfied with it. It was challenging, considering the kind of anime HOTD is. But the moment I posted it, it felt good. It was a great feeling of accomplishment. Truly, it is.
jervaulx says:
It was a success! At first, I thought no one would drop any reviews due to, what I call, crappy style of writing and poor choice of words; much to my surprise, feed backs came one-by-one - that's when I knew I was welcomed with open arms by the fandom. Felt awesome, really. If you're wondering what my first entry is, it was Piano Romance.

Q5: How do you fight writer's block?

tuNGaw-GiRL says: I'd stop writing for the meantime. I don't think something good will come up if you push yourself so hard to write even if you aren't in the proper frame of mind to actually write. Then, I'd just find something that could make me smile or do something that could entirely make me feel good. Like, sleep, for example. Or eat, or watch an anime series. Then, I'll think over petty things, deliberate on it in a deeper sense and that's when I find the inspiration to write again. You'll know what comes next. _
jervaulx says:
I read. Period.

Q6: What are the things that gives you the inspiration to write?

tuNGaw-GiRL says: Mine would be, well, ANIME. LOL. That, and those creepy sense of logic that really makes you think so hard and so deep. I love to write complicated things; those that makes you think of its plain meaning on first read then later makes you realize that it actually pertains to something else. Yes, I'm actually complicated.-laughs-
jervaulx says:
Real life experiences, nature, books, and tuNGaw-GiRL ;p HAHA. Random stuffs actually. The kind of inspiration likely depends on my mood. But to tell you the truth, there is one thing that never fails to inspire me: deadline.

Q7: How do you feel when readers compliment you about your teamwork with tuNGaw-GiRL/ JasMyr?

tuNGaw-GiRL says: Definitely honored! It is my first time to join in collaborations and honestly, I'm a bit anxious. I'm not exactly an expert in writing and I know that there are people who excels more in it. I consider Jasmine as one of them. When I read their compliments about our teamwork, I was overwhelmed and very proud. She is a great partner.,
jervaulx says: Overwhelmed. Why? Do you know how imposing an author my partner is? To be able to write alongside her is an honor indeed. Besides, considering how very opposite we are - we really are, promise - it is definitely a relief when readers say we sync and blend, our style becoming one.

Q8: Where do you get your ideas for a story?

tuNGaw-GiRL says: I get them from experiences. Not necessarily my experiences but could also be from people who are close to me. Also from the books I read.,
jervaulx says: Shower. It's effective. Trust me on this one.

Q9: How does it feel not getting any reviews?

tuNGaw-GiRL says: -shrugs- Disappointing? -laughs- Disappointing in the sense that, it makes me doubt the quality of my entries. But not to the point that I actually brood over it. I understand that we cannot please everybody with our works. We have our own preferences, after all.,
jervaulx says: I don't mind actually, but what ticks me off is when I look at the story stat and see that there are over twenty to fifty readers. It would be pretty disappointing.

Q10: What can you say about flamers out there?

tuNGaw-GiRL says: Flamers, huh? Er...people who doesn't have anything better to do? People who seeks attention? People who are envious? You pick.,
jervaulx says: They're the straightforward constructive critiques whom we may call fans or haters :) All I'd wish to say when I see one is: "Yay! A fan! XD"

Q11: How did you discover FFnet?

tuNGaw-GiRL says: Now this is one question I really find hard to answer (since I can't remember now how, indeed, did I discover FFnet). One thing is for sure, though. I'm really fond reading fanfictions even before. It could be that I was browsing for a good fanfic to read and came across the site, bookmarked it, made an account and...viola! FFnet member!_
jervaulx says: Yahoo! - La Corda d'Oro - clicks random results - found myself reading a story from the fandom. It's fate!

Q12: Would you pursue writing?

tuNGaw-GiRL says: By 'pursue' you mean actually make it a career? Well, not really, since I already have my career (being a teacher, that is). But expect me to still continue writing, even if it takes me a couple of months or even years to finish one. -laughs-
jervaulx says:
Err, I think I'll keep it as a hobby for now. Who knows? Maybe someday, you'll be reading my book :P HAHA. Daydreamer

Q13: A question from Iris Petals; how do you guys feel working together?

tuNGaw-GiRL says: Enjoyable and very inspirational. Working with Jas-chan is truly very fun. Oh and also very insightful. I don't think I could ever work with other collabs as good as I do with Jas-chan.,
jervaulx says:
We think, we plan, we organize, we edit - it's crazy, I tell you! But it is great fun working with tuNGaw-GiRL and a very good stress reliever. And with a lot of interruptions from Hime, Mizu-san, and Rikiya-kun, it diverts me from my imaginary problems.

Q14: Another from Iris Petals; how come you guys found each other?

tuNGaw-GiRL says: What was that again that brought us together? A post about a 'banana'? And our being both 'Bisdak'. LOL. Is this such a good answer, Jas-chan? -laughs-
jervaulx says:
HAHA. Yeah, BB - banana, Bisdak. We'll have to thank the Facebook group for that . . . and the story The Water Nymph, of course - it all started with it.

Extra, Extra: A Day with Hime and Friends
- A Renascence Omake

Authoress-san, Author-san, and Hime huddles in one corner of the room, laughing*

Authoress-san [tuNGaw-GiRL]: Shou-hime, you messed with his hair too much.
Shou: I like it this way. *sees Kei approaching them and suddenly pinches his cheeks*
Kei: Hey, what was that for? *spies the picture in his wife's hands* Who's that?
Author-san [jervaulx]: HAHA. That's you, Mizu-san!
Kei: I don't see the resemblance. *stares at supposedly photo of him with his hair tied in a girlish manner, a frown adorning his brows*
Shou: Eh? You are him. That is how you look like when you are angry. *blushes* Kawaii.
Kei: *frowns* I do not look like that!
Shou: Yes, you do. *hands mirror* See?
Kei: *sees face in the mirror and hands it back* Well, my hair does not stick out that much when messed up.
Shou: That's because I styled it that way. And I like it.
Kei: *sighs in defeat*
Author-san: *looks at Kei and Hime then back* Has the world ended? Hime actually won the argument?
Authoress-san: That's because she is his wife already. He can't afford to get divorced this early.

Rikiya: Why am I the only one missing?
