Update (2/25/08): So, basically, it's really hard for me to keep writing fanfiction when all this stuff that's happening in my life right now makes such amazing original fiction. :) That's right, I've fallen to the evils of fictionpress.com. There, I have a joint account with my best friend, but I'm the predominant user of the account. I have two original works up and she has one. Look us up: KandL Writers.
Changing subjects slightly, I've changed the homepage link on here. It now leads to my blog on blogspot. On there, my alias name is Kat (was NOT chosen by me, it was chosen by L from KandL). At school, people call me Ginny, therefore the name of the blog is 'The Life and Lies of Kat Weasley'. Feel free to address me as either K or Ginny and leave lots of love in the comment box. :)
I WILL update BCC as soon as I possibly can! I've been having a lot of computer issues lately and it's been hard to write much of anything that's a worthwhile length (i.e. approximately 10 pages long on Word). Once I have my computer back to normal (or just a new computer entirely), I will write like crazy and update like nobody's business. Promise.

Update (11/4/07): For all of you pestering me to update...I'm sorry. I have attempted to write new chapters for BCC, but with everything going on lately, it's hard to find time to do so. Right now, I'm frantically applying for scholarships, juggling 3 AP classes and 2 honors classes, writing application essays, and trying to get all my homework done before 2 AM. However, some of the hard work has paid off as I was just accepted into the first college I applied to this morning. :) So once I actually find time to write all my essays, I will be working my ass off to get something written for all you good people out there who aren't going through the stresses of college apps and senior year hassles.
Also, I will not be changing my penname. CFB is kinda stuck on me now. Haha. However, if you can find a new name for me, that relates to Harry Potter, and still has the acronym CFB, email me and let me know! I now have full access to my writer_chick account AND my cfb_loves_you account, so email away. :) I check about once a week, so if you don't get a reply immediately, that's why.
Anywho, the next chapter of BCC is half written, but it's all crappy dialog and no emotion, so I'll be editing it with Wicked Little Town later on. Oh, and I'm leaving for five days for the east coast, so don't expect much from me until next weekend. Yay! That's it for now!

Update (7/29/07): Having read Deathly Hallows twice, I think it's time for a new penname and a few new fics! I want to write about Albus Severus, Rose, and Scorpius as the new Golden Trio (and maybe Neville's child can be included, too). I have a few ideas, but I don't really want to introduce a new super villain, 'cause no one can pull off the Voldemort like Tom Riddle does, so...there might not be any evil wizards really incorporated. I was actually thinking about dredging up as many Death Eaters (that Jo left alive) as possible and have them be the evil-doers. Then again, I may find something better/brilliant to work with. =P
About the new penname, I think I'll change it when I get home from Virginia. I want to change it to "Scorpius' Mum," but I think that might be a little teenie-bopper-ish...haha!

FIC IDEAS
Bitter Cold Chill: AU. Malik, top gang leader with a lot of regrets, finds the way to ultimate revenge through his rival gang leader's sister. He faces the challenges of his past, present, and future while attempting to make an innocent girl fall in love with him. Malik/Shizuka. First chapter is up...and I'm halfway through plotting out the rest of the fic. It'll be MUCH longer than SWMA. Though I can tell you that the first romantic interaction between Malik and Shizuka starts in chapter 8 or 9. :) You'll be waiting a while. But it'll be worth it. Trust me.

The Slytherin Blanket: Oneshot. Draco's in hiding, waiting for his death at Voldemort's hands. As every horrible memory he's ever suffered through amass, including the recent death of a certain wizard, all he's got to give him strength to make it through is a blanket and an enemy.
