Hi Everyone, I'm not completely sure who would want to read my bio, but i am a 24 year old girl from California, although I currently live in Arizona. I used to write all of the time, but not so much lately. I am trying to get back to my writing, partially to keep my sanity, and partially because i have always been told that my writing was good. Please bear with me while i struggle to remember how to be an author. I am completely obsessed with Harry Potter, as if you can't tell that by my stories. If anyone wants to e-mail me, be my guest, although i can't see why you would.
My favorite Harry Potter stories to read/write are Harry/Hermione, Draco/Ginny, Ron/Luna, Lily/James.
I love reading the marauders era stuff, especially because I love Sirius Black.
I know that a lot of people get annoyed with us Harry/Hermione shippers, but I have logic on my side, despite what everyone (even JKR) says. Harry deserves to be with someone who cares for him, not just someone who is a major fangirl, which is all Ginny is, in my opinion. As for Ron/Hermione...Ron would annoy her to death in about 10 seconds flat. I mean, I could see them dating, but married...nah. She'd throw him off of a cliff after about a year, if that. Harry and Hermione deserve eachother, and they're perfect for one another, and no, I am not saying that just because he's the hero of the story, and she's the main girl in it. She is one of the few people who understands him, and he needs that more than anything after all that he's been through. (Yes, I realize that I shouldn't have this so well thought out, since i'm 24, but...well...i have no life, so bite me!)
I will also read Draco/Hermione stories as well, just because it's fun to watch her knock him down. His ego needs that on occasion, which is another reason for the pairings that I normally ship. Ginny, having been raised with the twins, has the attitude to keep Draco Malfoy in check. But I digress.
Now, in all fairness, if a story is well written, and isn't entirely focused on the relationship angle, I will read Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione stories. I'm not entirely against them, it's just what I would've liked to see happen, is all. I've read quite a few Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione stories, and loved them, even some that were just about the romance; it all depends on the story itself.
Ok, I think I've said enough about my Harry Potter obsession, except for mentioning one of my favorite people...SEVERUS SNAPE. He is one of my faves, although I don't usually read stories about him, unless they're stories about him going on some sort of personal angst trip or tyrade. It's difficult to write him without making him a bit out of character, so I kinda steer clear most of the time. I have a tough time writing him in proper character too, and I love him.
