Author has written 16 stories for Final Fantasy VII, and Lord of the Rings. Hi everyone! I don't update my profile often, but every so often you'll see a change. I'm from the USA, I have little free time on my hands, but I love writing. What can I say? I like torturing myself like that. _ I've got the story "A Run At Something Real" mostly written. I'm looking for someone else to help me work on the Haldir/Legolas parts in it for the ending, as my original Haldir has moved on to greener pastures. Heehee.. Not that I blame them in the least (I'll always be indebted to my darlin' Haldir). But the story must go on, and eventually, I'll run out of pre-written chappies to edit. Which takes forever and a bleeding DAY to do. Hours per chapter - hours I don't have. But oh well. Eventually, the story will be finished. And, of course, she makes an excellent Haldir. If she wants to continue the story past where we left off, of course I'll never turn her down. But as it stands, the story is stagnant and needs another with the talent (or some reasonable facsimile there of) she held to help me with the rest. ARASR is updated very sporadically. Sometimes I'm capable of updating a few times in one month. Other times it will take me months before I'm able to put in another update. Most of this is due to the fact that my personal life outside of editing that fic is hectic and medically annoying. Some of it is also that I'm very much into the Final Fantasy genre, specifically Final Fantasy 7, and sometimes those muses won't shut up till I've indulged them. Also, the severe lack of reviews per chapter for ARASR is kinda disheartening. I know it's not the most brilliant thing in the world, but I thought it deserved more than 3 reviews per chapter. That seems kind of pathetic. And discouraging. You've no idea how much reviews help an author feel confident and enthusiastic enough to work on fics. It's like sunlight after months of cloudy days. Or a warm blanket when it's freezing out. I'm serious. It really does help. Update on 9/15/2009: I have a beta for ARASR. Yup. Amazing, no? So please send your thanks to theswisswereright (http://www.fanfiction.net/u/1910970/ ) for stepping up to the plate and helping tackle this monster. I've been needing a beta for years, and FINALLY someone has shown the kindness of doing as much for me. :-D Now if only I had the time to edit my own fic enough to send it to them!
