Wow, so it's been FOREVER since I've done any updating here. I think perhaps it's time, lol.
So I've been here on ff.net for a very very long time. Like, seriously. I think I'm like, an old geezer or something. I have stories from '03...FIVE freaking years ago. Holy crap. Sorry, I'm still rather in shock.
Unfortunately, I don't know how much more writing I am going to do. Once my story 'A Stitch in Time' is finished, that will be it. Now, I'll probably pop in with a few one-shots now and then; you know, when I suddenly get hit with inspiration. Or when I feel crappy and depressed and need to take it out on some poor, unsuspecting (and probably undeserving) character (see 'My Story'). Lol. But yeah! That's about it. And I'm definately still around to read stuff, so I'm not dead and gone just yet xD.
Well, here is the 'about me' section. Enjoy.I like horsies (particularly a mare named Taylor. I love her with all my heart and she is my baby. She is not fond of me sometimes, because I make her work and she is a lazy girl. And I like riding through deep snow, which she also hates. She also is very fat, and despite popular belief, is not in fact pregnant. She just loves her food. To the point where she will chase you because she wants to eat. And she will eat you if you don't have anything)
I am now a university student, majoring in music with a minor in history. My favourite instrument is the bass clarinet, with the fiddle as a close second.
I love the ocean and I love my beach. I love sunsets and splashing through the waves. I love the little things in life, and I love to laugh. I'm a romantic at heart, and look forward to the day when my love story gets written. I also like the snow, and I like to ski (cautiously). Snowmen are fun and snowball fights are awesome. Getting shoved into a snowbank is even fun sometimes too. I love gallopping through deep snow, on a sunny day when the ground looks like diamonds.
Most importantly, I love my Lord and Saviour with all of my heart. He is the reason I am here today, and I am nothing without Him.

As for the my penname, it is the title of my favourite song. It is a song by the band Downhere, which I'm sure most of you have never heard of before. They are Christian artists, and the song is based off of a passage in Matthew in which Jesus speaks to the storm and everything is quiet. The meaning comes not from the literal interpretation, but from the metaphorical one, in that Christ can calm the storm inside when the waves are crashing and the boat is sinking.
