Author has written 2 stories for Lord of the Rings.

Daughter: someone who is led, guided, or influenced by another who is a leader/teacher; follower of that person’s standard
Olorin: Gandalf Stormcrow of the Istari; derived from the Quenya (high-elven) word "olori," meaning “dreams”

So that you don't have to call me by my pen name (unless you want to), call me 'Gin.'

Boromir is da bomb! (That includes the book version.) And Gandalf and Glorfindel are close seconds! Trailing behind these two is the movie-version Haldir. I could listen to him talk all day. :)

I have written other fandoms under other pen names-Wrestling, "Disco Inferno1" (the link is in my favorite authors list); and A-Team, "Carl from Covina" (see VA archive).

I need a place to rant! I watched the 1978 cartoon version of LOTR and guess who got replaced? Glorfindel! By none other than Legolas! What has this poor guy ever done to anybody? First Legolas and then Arwen. I don't think so! How hard was it to draw another cartoon elf or cast another good-looking guy? Really? I don't think the world is that short on cartoon ink or in guys who can play elves. My husband laughed his butt off at my reaction when Aragorn called out Legolas' name at the moment Glorfindel was to come to the rescue. Okay, I'm done. I feel a little better now. Thanks for listening.

Here are a few tidbits about me!
1. What book am I reading now? A variety of paperback popular fiction that takes a few days to read. Something to cleanse my palate from my studies.

2.What's on my mousepad and screensaver? Chik-fil-A cows (mousepad) and Lord of the Rings Nazgul on my CPU and the A-Team on my laptop (screensavers).

3. Favorite board game? Trivial Pursuit, Monopoly, and Disney Trivia.

4. Favorite smell? Rain and fabric softener (not mixed together).

5. Least favorite smell? Dead skunk, especially after it’s been baking in the sun for a few days.

6.First thing I think of when I wake up in the morning? Can I skip class today?

7. When is my birthday? March 15, 1979.

8. If I could have any job, what would it be?A writer that actually gets paid. Or any job in the WWE. Or even maybe a monster truck driver.

9. Favorite movies? The Princess Bride, Labyrinth, Lord of the Rings, Overboard, Zoolander, The Lion King, and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.

10. Favorite sports to watch? Baseball, football, hockey. Give me Braves, Falcons, and Thrashers anytime. While many would argue that wrestling and monster trucking do not fall under this category, I’m still gonna include them here.

11. What are my biggest fears? Being suffocated, running out of ideas for stories, and never finding a real job.

12. Favorite music artists? ALABAMA! (They’re retiring, sniff!), David Bowie, Clay Aiken, Nickelback, 3 Doors Down, and Evanesence

13. Favorite TV shows? A-Team, RAW, Friends, Beauty the Beast, Desparate Housewives, CSI, Tough Enough, and Joe Millionaire.

14. Where I went to college? Shorter College in Rome, GA, for my BS; Mercer University in Atlanta, GA, for my Master’s; Columbia in Decatur, GA, for my second Master's; and currently at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, for my Ph.D.
