Author has written 42 stories for Dragon Age, and Mass Effect. News as of 5/07/13: Added link for the commissioned cover art for Return To Me. About me: In case you haven't noticed, I am a Dragon Age fan. I have played all games and expansions, and also host a monthly campaign of the role playing game. I am also obsessed with fact, and will use as much of it as I can in my stories. Research first, write last...unless I am clearly twisting things for my own amusement! In other news, I'm just like anyone else, on their own personal journey through life. On DAO: I fell in love with the game when it came out, mostly because of Claudia Black. I am a huge fan of hers from Farscape, and Morrigan was so amazingly written that I immediately jumped in with both feet. My first play through I was a city elf, romanced Alistair, and was heartbroken when he dumped me. I literally cried when it happened, restored, and tried every option possible for this not to be! When I realized the game had emotionally scarred me to such a level, I knew I would be playing it again and again. On DA2: It wasn't until DA2 came around that I began considering fan fiction. There was so much lacking in the story they had given us; so many things left unexplained, or unexplored. I fell madly in love with both Fenris and Anders, but was frustrated that I couldn't interact with them like you could with your interests in DAO. So here I came, looking for answers, and then decided to begin creating my own. Below is the result of the suffering Bioware has bestowed upon me! But I do love them dearly. A special thank you: I am very lucky to have the most amazing sister in the world. She is my rock, my inspiration, and the only reason I ever found this site to begin with. Though she refuses to write Dragon Age, I still love her. To my uber beta Erana, thank you for everything you have ever done for me. 1 Year Anniversary: Hard to believe it's only been a year; seems like a lifetime ago I joined! Within this last year I have met some wonderful writers who have become some of my closest friends. Through the love of a game called Dragon Age, a bond has been formed with so many amazingly talented people, and I am happy to be a part of it. Mostly for me to compare to next year, my stats for this year are: 68 members have me as a favorite author, 82 have me on author alert. I have done 710 reviews and written 365,784 words within 31 stories. Wow. This may not be much to some people, but it's pretty awesome in my book! An Open Letter to Bioware/David Gaider I had written this journal entry to the above basically thanking them for all that they had done in writing, creating, and producing such an amazing world for us to play in. I just wanted to put it out there, in the hopes that maybe, someday, someone over there would read it and know how much what they have done has shaped what I do as a writer. I never would've imagined the amazing events that have occurred from doing so. Many from the Bioware team have indeed read it, sent me messages on Twitter thanking me for it, and the Maker himself David Gaider commented on the entry. When something like this happens, it not only validates what I had to say, but it shows me what an amazingly awesome group of people are behind such an amazingly awesome world that I love to play in. None of this would have happened though if it weren't for a handful of amazing women writers that consistently have my back and are supportive in all I do. So in addition to the thanks I already gave to the creators, I also thank Csorciere, Erana, Eve Hawke, Jaden Anderson, and Wintryone for sharing in this adventure with me.
