About Me: There's not a terribly large amount to know, but I'll give you an overview nonetheless. This is my second time on FF.net; my first five years began in 2003 under the penname "AmethystRoze", which ended following a devastating computer breach (all right, so that's stretching it a bit, but it was sad). Below, you'll still be able to find my older stories, however hilarious and amusing. I still hold them dear, nonetheless, but I would try and refrain from reading anything written before 2008. The hilariosity (but not really a good hilariosity), large amount of errors, and just overall badness really embarrasses me. You might still enjoy it, but it's nothing high-class. We must all start somewhere though, right? I am predominantly a yaoi/shonen-ai author, but I still favor and cheer on hetero/yuri couples. Gundam Wing sparked my interest in yaoi, the transition after reading my first lemony-fresh story being O.O-- O.o-- (insert pervy smile). After that it's been one of my true loves. Yu-Gi-Oh (I am not ashamed to admit) was my favorite subject to write about--probably due to my lack of cable--and I still fantasize about the couple possibilities every now and then; heck, I still even have story ideas. But, as it were, life has changed for me, and the greatness of the internet has given me back my passion. I mainly write for myself, though reviews are nice. I'm still the same crazy girl I was back then (though my aspirations have certainly changed, from BIO to ENG -_- ...oh what the hell, I'm happy), and I love meeting new people and making new friends, so don't be afraid to have an intelligent (or unintelligent) conversation with me sometime! I'm a funny mix of everything. I can also come to love anything. And I have a serious penchant for beauty (not in the superficial way, but in the artistic way...though it can be rather superficial at times eheh. My eyes and ears are simply attracted to pretty things, though what I consider "pretty" and "beautiful" is quite relative and arbitrary, to say the least.) My dad was from Malawi, Africa, and my mom is a crazy white woman (with a crazy cultural descent) whom I adore. I am also a great advocator of retaining youth forever. I don't plan on ever getting old or acting my age. If you feel that way too, more power to ya and and an internet air-five. It's been about 3 years since I last updated anything on FF.net, and since then my writing has greatly changed. I hope readers enjoy what I have to offer, but be forewarned: age and experience have caused me to lose many of my previous writing inhibitions. That means anything goes. That means there's a high chance my stories will contain highly descriptive sex scenes (may as well be blunt) should the occasion arise for it. Still, I try to write characters truly and do my best to put forth a good story. Please enjoy.

--My comments: How to explain? This story was the love of my life. And then that love became extremely morphed and I lost the capability to proceed. And could it have ended at a more insane moment? I WANT to finish this story. It's just a matter of whether or not I CAN.

--Summary: AU; I have a condition. I'm going to forget everything. I'm going to forget you. And there's nothing you can do about it.
--Status: COMPLETE; Ch.4 - "Second Start-Up" (sequel/epilogue thingy) in-progress (2000+ words as of Wednesday, August 26) - LOL, I will finish this one...I WILL.
--My comments: I have a bad feeling about how long this is going to be. It may end up being another 24000-er. It's also turning out to be severly angst-ridden, which is weird, because I would've thought this would be the installment of hopefulness. But I like how it's going.

Future Prospects (as of 8/26/09)

"The Stone-Blindfold" -- A long-ish oneshot, maybe 10,000 words or less. Maybe (probably) more. It's NaruGaa, and the inspiration hit me with such a sudden force that I know I'll have to peddle this out within (god knows when). It's more of the sweet, fluffy fanfare, but with its own maturity and underlying symbolism. Rated T. I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever write this. God help me, but I will. I just don't know when.

Misc. Ramblings of August 26, 2009: LOL. L.O.L. Why do I always do this? Why the heck do I always do this. It's been a year since the last update. A year. LOL. Okay, it may not be too funny for you, but great gods...I am nothing if not a putter-offer. Why is my randomness so hilarious to myself? Would it help to say I've not been completely useless, that I've not completely put everything off? This past year has been severely intense. To my own credit, I was taking 21 credit hours last semester, and this semester I'm taking 19 and applying to grad school, so I'm basically dying inside while walking around campus. BUT. I took my (much-needed) hiatus because my writing was starting to slack, and ALL that I've been doing since then is reading, writing, taking lit and writing courses, and working on my writing skills. And I've been taking poetry courses which I hope have added a surreal edge to my new work. You'll see. I just hope it doesn't go over everyone's head. Anywho, I sincerely hope I'm back where I need to be because I have a NaruGaara story that I started out of NOWHERE, and with the luck of the gods, it shall be posted sometime (hopefully) soon. LOL. We'll see how that goes.
