Hey there,

My name's Alura Nescire, and, as you can guess, I am a fanfiction writer. Maybe one day I will publish an actual book, of short stories or something, but I enjoy Fanfiction writing for the moment :)

Please correct my grammar and such, but the story lines are generally for my own benefit. I usually don't write to please other people, just myself :)

And if my stories are similar to that of an already published story, please please please let me know! I dont want to copy anyone elses stuff. I will contact the author of a story and ask them if I can borrow an idea if it would fit perfectly into one of my stories, but I wont take major plot lines, etc. Only ideas that come to my mind when I read that story.

Why Dragons like Gold:

Power Rangers- This story is the reason I decided to publish. I handwrote the whole story in a notebook, and then decided that it shouldn't be left on a shelf to go dusty. Good ol' internet! :)

Basically, I wondered how life would be as a Power Ranger, so I invented my OC, Alura the Gold Ranger, and that is where my username comes from. Alura, meaning advisor, or saviour (appropriate for a ranger? I think so :P), and Nescire, which is Latin, meaning not to know. Also appropriate, as no one knows who I am. :) Hopefully.

The Hardest Part Is Saying Goodbye:

Power Rangers- Let it be known that I have known very little grief in my life. I am very grateful to have been so fortunate, but I did wonder how a hero would feel to lose his own hero; a brother. I have a brother, and even though he can be annoying a noisy, I don't know what I'd do without him :)

A Brothers Voice:

Ninja turtles- I discovered Ninja turtles when they showed the 2007 movie on television... and it was love at first sight! Raphael is my favourite turtle, because I sympathize with the anguish that he feels not to be able to go out and be accepted by society. I also love his anger for some reason. Gotta love a bad boy! I also love him as the Nightwatcher, and his weapons are awesome. He is awesome. Love him to bits :P

Anyway, what was I talking about? Oh yeah, the story! :) I wanted to explore what Raphael would do if he found himself in Leonardo's shoes... and I mean that almost literally. You'll have to read the story if you want to know what I'm talking about ;) It was also inspired from the philosophy class I'm in, where we are studying the reality of minds, 'The Matrix', etc. I thought it would be interesting to connect these brothers through their minds, have them really 'inside each others heads'. A connection between brothers is important, especially for these four unique creations. :)

Let it be known that I think there is NOTHING WRONG WITH HOMOSEXUALITY. A homosexual couple is just as beautiful as a hetrosexual couple. Besides, its love. You cant help who you fall in love with. Love makes the world go around, and there is no way that I can argue with that. :)

Also, I respect peoples religious views, but I do not follow a religion myself. Its not that I don't believe in God/Gods, religion just isn't a part of how I was raised. I think Religions have very good morals, and should be respected. I myself follow 'the golden rule, "treat others the way that you would like to be treated". This is a rule that comes in many different forms and religions, and it is what I try to live my life by. I am happy, and I treat others as I would like them to treat me. However, this probably won't be something that happens in my stories. Conflict is what drives any story, but you cant really have that conflict with the golden rule in place.

And, all events in my story are ficticious. Probably obvious, but just saying :) Its interesting the ideas that come to me in my dreams. You should always have a notebook next to your bed, so you can write down your dreams. Its very handy :)

So... thats about it :) In the future I would like to be involved in theatre, and I am currently studying towards this. Yes, I'm a student, so I'm really REALLY sorry if I don't update as often as you or I would like. My life can be very busy, so... yeah, I'll update when I can :)
