Author has written 17 stories for Alias, Harry Potter, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Doctor Who, Devil's Whore, Torchwood, Fringe, Corpse Bride, Covert Affairs, Shades of London, and Chronicles of Narnia.

Name: Luna (it's not my real name, but I do go by it).

Age: 25

Education: Degree in history from a certified uni, with minors in American Studies and Political Science.

State: VA

Fandoms: Fringe, Doctor Who, Alias, Harry Potter, Joan of Arcadia, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Torchwood, The Devil's Whore and Covert Affairs.

Shippings: Peter/Olivia (Fringe), Doctor/Rose (Doctor Who), Sydney/Vaughn (Alias), Harry/Hermione, Ron/Luna, Ginny/Draco (Harry Potter--yes, I know they're not canon), Adam/Joan, Luke/Grace (Joan of Arcadia), Jack/Gwen, Jack/Everybody (Torchwood), Angelica/Sexby (The Devil's Whore) and Annie/Auggie (Covert Affairs).

Fandoms I like but have not yet written for include: Sarah Jane Adventures, LOST, Roswell, Everwood, Legend of the Seeker, Dollhouse, Life on Mars (UK), Chronicles of Narnia.

Other shippings of note: Max/Liz, Michael/Maria, Isabel/Alex (Roswell), Charlie/Claire, Charlotte/Daniel, Juliet/Sawyer (LOST), Richard/Kahlan (LOTS), Ballard/Echo (Dollhouse), Sam/Annie (Life on Mars UK).

In addition to these fandoms, there are other series, novels, and such that I adore and follow religiously, but of which I am not involved in the fandom. To be honest, there are very few shows or novels that I have not checked out. Cos I really don't have a life.

Top pairings of the moment are:

--Doctor/Rose from Doctor Who (the RTD Era). They are my #1 OTP of ALL TIME. I may love many others, but they're all secondary to these two. Every time I re-watch them together, I fall in love all over again, and they make me want to hug my telly. It's quite a lame thing.
--Lily/James from J. K. Rowling's "Harry Potter Series." I realise a lot of people prefer Lily/Snape, but um...I pretty much think Snape is a jerk (and many other harsh words that aren't allowed on here). Plus, Lily/James is canon (deal with it, naysayers!) I don't think Lily would have fallen for him if he didn't prove himself. Plus, I kind of have a crush on James and Sirius and Remus. I always have, always will. I have a thing for pranksters (I blame my lifelong love affair with Zack Morris), but they were also good men in their hearts. Plus, James was really smart, and that's always a plus.
--Peter/Olivia from Fringe. I am so happy that they're really together, even despite re-written time lines. I can't wait to see what happens for them in the last leg of their journey.
--Annie/Auggiefrom Covert Affairs. I thought that I had put my insane shipping of these two behind me, but the last few episodes has really brought it back. They're just the greatest best friends ever, and one of the few groups that I can see moving from the stage of "best friends" into something deeper really easily. I'm usually hesitant about the idea of friends crossing that barrier, but not those two.

Note: My earlier stories have interesting plot lines, but they're not well executed or well written. And I am genuinely sorry about that. I was around 15 when they were being written, and they're not too bad for someone who never really attempted writing before they were posted. HOWEVER, I think/hope that I have gotten significantly better in the intervening years. So, feel free to read my early stuff, but just note that they're very amateur, and they will probably never be finished. I pretty much abandoned them all when I left for college and gave up writing for three and a half years. After I came back, I wanted to work on new things.

I very occasionally will write fanfics for films -- so far only Corpse Bride, but I hope to write some for Never Let Me Go and Nightmare Before Christmas too, at some point. My other favourite films include: To Kill a Mockingbird (my all-time favourite), The Goonies, Anastasia, Hold Your Man, the James Bond movie franchise, anything written or directed by JJ Abrams, anything written or directed by Joss Whedon.

I take a lot of inspiration from music, especially bands like Billy Joel and Alan Parsons Project. I don't write "song fics" anymore, but if you listen to the song that I may mention in my A/N as being my "muse," you might *possibly* get some idea of where my thought processes were coming from during the writing. I can't promise though cos emotional writing doesn't necessarily have to do with lyrics or anything like that.

I am working on the next chapter of Light at Lantern Waste, and have been for months really. I just am very ADD with fandom and my muse is obsessed with my DW/Fringe xovers on the rare times it decides to let me write. I also have had a job for the better part of a year and I do a lot of traveling, so writing doesn't get to happen as much for me anymore.

For my Joan of Arcadia fic, it will probably be removed sometime over the next few months (I had only written one chapter of what was supposed to be a multi-chapter fic), and I will then re-post the same story condensed down into one LONG chapter. Cos I had a really important spiritual point to bring up in it that I still wish to share.

Other Things to Note: I am an Anglophile, as can be seen from my attempts to emulate British phrasing and spelling. I am also an historian, and an avid researcher. I have 93% mental recall, so most of the time I can keep things VERY canon when I'm writing. I once studied musical theatre, and I have a strong grasp on political philosophy, literature, and Christian Theology (Catholic and Protestant), and I like to write essays for fun. I'm an unlikely sci-fi nerd, but I am one nonetheless, and I also get quite into fantasy, though I don't find it quite as stimulating in the long run as I do sci-fi. I think I just really have a nerd-on for aliens. I also can have whole two hour conversations using nothing but quotes from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I know. I'm talented.
