All silliness aside, I'm a FoLC (Fan of Lois and Clark) a Pretender fan, a member of DarkNN, Merc, and Addict by Association in Forever Knight, H/M shipper in JAG, a Star Wars fan, and my latest fandom is Harry Potter.
And yes, I'm also on the Harry/Ginny bandwagon. I could see it coming back in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. I don't write slash and rarely read it, so you'll never find any here. I'm firmly in denial of both Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, so in my little Potterverse worlds, they didn't happen and won't happen. I may, however, refer to bits of canonical knowledge from them and perhaps even write some reaction pieces. Don't hold your breath waiting for 'em, though. I've too many other stories in the works to start another.
I have a degree in creative writing, so as you can probably imagine, I'm pretty good at what I do and fanfic is my escape. I'm currently applying to graduate schools for a MA in creative writing to match my BA. (I think it could keep my other BAs company.)

September 21, 2007- A note to my For Duty and Honor readers: For Duty and Honor is neither finished nor abandoned. We're currently experiencing technical difficulties due to Real Life. The next two chapters are still in beta/editing because my main Britpicker has been really busy and hasn't had the time to look at them. I promise to post as soon as I can, but the time lag between chapters can't be helped at the moment--it's well beyond my control. I'm still writing Precatio Una, because my highly distractable muse saw some shiny plots and ran after them, and my family has recently moved.

I've been asked about the Latin chapter titles in For Duty and Honor, so I'll post the translations here. My thanks to Owen, a retired Latin teacher, who has graciously offered to check my work to make sure it's correct. :) Some of the titles have changed to reflect his corrections, and he's also agreed to check my 'spells' for translations purposes. I'm currently working on another short story called Making Things Even that's another Potions and Snitches challenge response. There is a story for the Invisibility challenge brewing as well, called Hiding in Plain Sight. I also have three (yikes!) crossovers in the works, and I'm coming up with a rough outline for a sequel to For Duty and Honor tentatively titled For Honor and Loyalty. The crossovers are, first and foremost, a HP/JAG cross entitled Of Wands and Gold Wings, a HP/Labyrinth cross called Underhill, Overhill, and a HP/Forever Knight cross called Midnight Watch. Yeah, I'm weird. The crossover plot bunnies assaulted me.
September 21, 2007--There are no plans for a sequel to True Confessions. I've received many reviews asking for one, but as of right now, I have no plans for one. :) I arrived at a good place to stop... so I did. I know all the threads aren't neatly wrapped up the way I usually do in longer pieces, but that's why it's a short story. I am, however both shocked and honored at the response to my little short story. I mean, it's garnered 4, 650 hits, 51 reviews, 41 C2s, and 56 favorite lists. Wow. For a one shot. As a fandom, y'all have been incredibly nice to me. For Duty and Honor is the only one that's on more C2 lists--200 in fact. To all those who have reviewed and/or added me to your C2 groups, thank you. There is definitely more to come.

I may be continuing somebody else's story soon. My father, MrDToad, died early last night. I miss him and want him back. I'm seriously considering finishing his story as a memorial.
