Due to another author message, I have realized that I forgot that I had a profile. So here I am, one year later, updating.

First off, I ended up doing an assignment in my argument writing class with the prompt: Why Do You Write?

It was just a fast write, so there is bound to be errors and crap but I thought it was fitting.

I don’t write for justice or to expose the truth. I write to tell people what I think should matter in a story format. Ego isn’t something I write for. Rather, I write because I’m cowardly and need a pen and paper to write down what I need to say or what I want to be. I create characters that are not me-who are humble, quiet, smart and talented, and have them experience things that I would never be able to do. Other times I write with the intent to leave something behind that is moving, breathing and powerful on a white sheet of paper, etched with ink. But most of the time that fails.

Have you ever felt that the state of mind that you’re in isn’t your own? Or to know things that wasn’t yours to know? Have you ever felt feelings you never realized you had? When I read my sister’s writing, it’s almost exactly like that. It gets to a point where I get so inspired to write but have nothing to say but to just let the words flow. Perhaps the best reason for why I write is to make my reader feel. I want my readers to feel the sun as they walk in that world I write about; I want them to hear that familiar laughter my characters recognize; I want them to feel nostalgic as they see that sunrise, and have them shake in fear at the thought that they might never see it again. It’s to make my reader understand these thoughts that I can’t say, these fears that I live with, these ideals that I cannot place, or these feelings I cannot pin down. I write to just have my audience feel and be moved by words as I have. I want them to feel the resonating power of what a single word can reduce you to. It’s not finding the truth, or writing beautifully. To me, it’s just an expression of what is deep down in your soul that your mouth is unable to translate. Writing is like revealing a different world. Writing is an invitation to knowledge of what’s around, of what’s inside people’s actions, of why we do these things without thinking.

Yup...so that's that. Now, moving on...

18 isn't all what it's cracked up to be, apparently. -_-; And college sucks. Too bad we kinda need it, you know? I swear that there is always a rain cloud (or a very constipated and gloomy cloud) above my college. It makes me so depressed. Wow. I'm being depressed by a building. Pretty sad, huh? Because of my crap schedule, I have to stay in that freezing, what-the-hell-is-wrong-with-you-people-making-this-library-so-freaken-cold-in-hawaii-of-all-places from 7 in the morning, until 5 in the afternoon.=sighs= Needless to say, fanfiction.net has become the only thing to save me from my gloom and doom days.

Well college classes aren't too bad. I still don't think I'm supposed to be a nurse. I really would like to go into art. If I get to it, I'll get a deviant account up to get my pictures online. I'm gonna be selling art this year for the kon, and I'm so freaken excited that I hardly know what to do with myself. Well, other than work on the damn pieces.

Hawaii is the same, sunny some days, random bits of rain here and there, (except at my college. It always rains. -_-;) Surf is a little rough this time around...Kona winds been tearing apart Christmas decorations here. It was really funny, I look out the window and see a gigantic blow up santa and I hear the kid next door say 'See mommy, Santa DOES exist!' ah, thought it was the cutest thing ever!

Well, I'm almost done with my Tobi costume. My friend Cara and I are cosplaying as Deidara and Tobi from akatsuki. XD Cara's gonna throw peeps at everyone. Mwahaha! Then I just got to get my wig for N for the death note group. I get to have an office chair and have someone push me around throughout the kon! Mwahahaaha! So this years anime convention will be awesome. Unfortunately, 7 girls will be staying in one hotel room ( we are poor bastards, remember) and so that means I'll be sleeping in the closet again. =sigh=

Well, my sister and I have been bonding throughout the year. We are going on a trip to Japan during Spring break, all by ourselves! No crazy mother trying to pack our lives in a itsy bitsy box like she does right now. Oh yeah, and if anybody knows if Princess-Tsunade is alright, can you contact me? I've been very worried about her lately.

So, I FINALLY made it past 700 in my manga series count. (not manga book count, that would be well over 1000. -_-;) My myspace is still up. if you want to be friends, just message me and I'll add you.

Kingdom hearts- anything to do with Riku, Sora, Roxas or Axel. Or a combination of those 4. XD And squall (leon) and Cloud need love too.

Newsies- Spot is my favorite, but I can't seem to find the portrayal of spot that I want, so I might be writing a fic to satisfy my craving. So for any of you reading this, the world is about to come to an end-Sano is going to write. dun dun dun...!

Final Fantasy X- Anything to do with Auron. Because I heart him. He's just so freaken awesome. I might want to write a fic with him-depends if I get a good idea.

Bleach- Anything with Histugaya. He's my hero. Vertically challenged people unite!

Zelda- Because link is such an intriguing character and it's only in fanfiction where zelda could possibly be redeemed.

Rurouni Kenshin-Anything to do with Hajime Saitou or Aoshi Shinomori. Badass villians turned good unite.

I might also be planning another fic, a short story that I might make into a manga with the help of my friend Shelly who is absolutely AMAZING at drawing. We'll see. Might post up a one shot thing for Naruto. Depends when I get to it. Also might be planning a story with kakashi's past, and also have a gaara fic floating around...and cara just collaborated with me to get some kind of zelda plot. XD
