For those of you who don't know, the rewrite of this fic began in 2007 and the original BS is available if you PM or email me. The changes between the two are extensive.

I would also like to say that I do not have to distribute this, and I expect my doing so is respected by all who request a copy. This material, while no longer posted on ffdotnet, is mine. And I don't appreciate people plagiarizing, for example, by taking quotes from it and changing names - that is theft - which has happened once so far and was dealt with in a respectful manner. Thank you.

BS POD FIC UPDATES:

First I'd like to give many thanks to Istalindir!! (glomps) (kisses) She has so far edited chapters 3, 4, and 6, and did them one day each! O.O For those of you who don't realize how amazing that makes her, it takes 4-8 hours to edit a BS podfic draft. Which is a bitch. But with my new podfic editors this process is made much shorter for me!! I only have to spend around 1-2 hours, :) which means more updates for y'all! So far I have two other editors, and when they get their chapters back to me I will be posting a thank you to them as well.

Wanting the most for his human, he hires a rent boy to ‘pretend’ to be him for a night, directing said rent boy to do everything he would do – if he could actually have sex with Sam.

I don't suspect it will get a lot of action, but I figured I could put it out there anyway. (grins) Someone should convince Miranda Flairgold to start one for her series. Bloody Skies:

So, I got a lot of requests for extra info on BS, just for reference. I understand that as the story goes along, many will get confused. (grins) I get confused all the time, and I have notes to consult. Well, some notes. I mostly wing it, because planning ahead is tedious and boring and you only end up using a fraction of the information you put so much work into... But I digress. For the rewrite, some things were changed, so I took down the old character list and put up this updated version.

Summary:

The life of Cyrus Obsidian (Harry Potter) has never been particularly normal or boring. How can it be when he’s being hunted by a crazy Dark Lord with delusions of immortality, a barmy old Headmaster who thinks it’s his job to save the world, and the odd vampire trolling through the halls at night looking for a midnight snack? A new name and school were supposed to fix things, but instead his life gets even more hectic as he’s dragged into vampire politics, werewolf problems, and a non-human’s idea of a ‘normal’ relationship.

Forced into new and unpleasant situations at every turn, Cyrus is forced to adapt in more ways than one. The kiddy gloves stay off at Shikaan because the teachers don’t care if you break your leg, another student is trying to kill you, or you’re not smart enough to keep up in their class. Going to one of the most prestigeous schools in Other Realm probably wasn’t the brightest of ideas, but Cyrus knows the lessons taught at Shikaan will prove invaluable to his future.

Well... if he survives long enough to graduate.

My pen's Toki Mirage, but I prefer just Mirage. I'm female. I'm a university student.

I like music, fanfiction, writing, reading, drawing, manga, anime, and I hate working.

My favourite kind of fanfiction is Supernatural, Smallville, Naruto, or Harry Potter right now. I like my main characters smart, interesting, powerful, independent, cynical, sarcastic, and I have an obsession with time travel/alternate dimension fics. Unfortunately, I have exhausted both fandoms at the moment. This is a depressing thought. Oh, and I only read and write slash unless it's a mindblowingly good fic. And sometimes not even then.

My favourite TV is SUPERNATURAL!, True Blood, Smallville, Dexter, Medium, Stargate: Atlantis, Supernatural, Andromeda, Dark Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly, Dexter, and the Dresden Files. I hate Battlestar Galactica. Way too depressing. I'm angry at myself for buying it.

My favourite authors are LILITH SAINTCROW! Jennifer Rardin, Laurell K Hamilton, Kim Harrison, Jim Butcher, Vicki Pettersson, Phaedra Weldon, L.A. Banks, Mercedes Lackey, Garth Nix, Ann Aguirre, Natasha Rhodes, Jeanne C. Stein, Karen Chance, Laura Anne Gilmon, and others I don't have on my bookshelf right now. Basically: Vampires, magic, ass-kicking action.
