If you met me you'd never expect me to write this kind of stuff, or even expect me to write at all. I'm (in my opinion) a little too old to be so involved with teenage angsty fiction, but for some reason I love it! I guess you need some sort of escape when you work a corporate job all day and go to business school at night. Le sigh.

Word of advice, kids: don't ever grow up!

On a positive note, I really enjoy writing. I used to do it a lot when I was younger and through high school but after that my imagination atrophied from disuse and I became one of the proverbial rats in the race. One of these days I'll come up with my own original idea and publish the novel I've always dreamed of... until then I'll continue the 9-5 routine.

Let's see, a little more about me? I can't get enough of reading! When I was a kid and would "run away" I'd pack a bag of books. I wrote my own stories and put on little plays for my parents. Even now if I get a hold of a story that I just can't put down, I'll read until I've finished, whether that be at dinner or at 3am when I have to be up at 6 the next morning.

My absolute favorite book is She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb, followed by my childhood favorite, Starring Sally J Freedman as Herself, by the famous Judy Blume. I still go back and read them both from time to time even though I'm quite a bit beyond the Judy Blume series. I guess that's part of my refusal to take myself too seriously.
