Actually I'm a citizen of the American South, the Golden Isles area to be specific, and have a great love for anything Tolkien. I have a good, (if a bit twisted) sense of humor. I like to hang out in Savannah, Georgia, AKA Mayberrry on Acid. Told you I have a twisted sense of humor. You have been warned.
I have been married to the same man (!) since 1972. I call him 'Beornomir'. I'm a mother of 6'2" son, born July 1973, and grandmother of three beautiful granddaughters and one very beautiful grandson.
I worked in construction for a while and did some other very interesting work as well. I love animals, especially dogs. I'm a huge fan of Boromir and Pippin. I have given up asking myself why I love them so. I also adore the actors who portrayed those characters in the film trilogy.
I have a somewhat (in)famous ancestor. Just look up "Queen of the Okefenokee". Seems unconvential females run in the family. Ahem.
I am now retired. I lived in central Florida for a while, where my grandmother was born, but returned to the Golden Isles I love so dearly. Here I hope to live to a ripe old age and be planted under some huge old live oak where I can hopefully RIP. If I can't RIP maybe I'll wind up somehow in Middle Earth. God help it if I do.
