It's really a turn off when a summary reads "I suck at summaries." I know they're difficult to write, but really, how much faith should I then put into the person's story?

My name is Rachel and I love to read and to write. I'm a bit bookish, really. I'm trying to become the most well read person in my high school, and I feel I'm doing pretty well. I realized recently that I was wasting my creative mind due to self imposed procrastination and laziness, so I figured I'd get back to my fic here, which was on hiatus for about a year and a half, and try to get my creative juices flowing.

In the long term, I'm probably going to write a Pirates of the Caribbean fic, since I've lately had pirates on the brain (no seriously, it's becoming a noticeable problem. I've started trying to dress like a pirate doing everyday things. And it's subconscious, sort of, because when I write a character, I tend to adopt them into myself to test them out. I once wrote this nasty little squire girl character while I was shoveling snow and I nearly got grounded for snubbing my parents so much.) and all I need now is a good plot. I also plan to write a novel, but that's in the future, really...oh, but it should definitely have pirates!

I'm easily amused, single minded, simple person, simple pleasures, etc.

Anyway, enjoy your reading, even if it's not my story you're reading. An attention span is a terrible thing to waste.
