About Me

I am a twenty-year-old female and I love anime and games... a lot. I spend most of my day gaming and/or on the computer. Back when the Wii first came out, I woke up at like, three in the morning and drove to Toys'R'Us and stood in line waiting for them to open at five... then I rushed in and bought a copy of the Wii and the new Zelda! I beat that after a while (yay!) and Sonic and the Secret Rings. I sometimes play Ragnarok Online, but I've been kinda not wanting to play any MMOs lately. But...

My favorite game series is the Tales of series... Tales of Phantasia's the best~! Chester's my favorite character (thus why he's the narrator of my main ToP story), followed by Klarth... Arche comes in a close third! Those three are all so awesome~! I like all of the other characters, too~! ...I just don't know what order they would go in... Milard's really grown on me, so she's definitely up near the top.

The Tales of series is followed by Zelda, which I grew up with... my dad, my sister, and I used to play when my sister and I were really little. I don't remember much before the N64, but I do remember playing Zelda... Following Tales of and Zelda comes Sonic, the awesomestest hegdehog. But... Tails so beats Sonic. Tails is my favorite Sonic character~! He's a fox (my favorite animal!) and smart and unbelievably cute! Go Tails! Although Tails is my favorite, Knuckles is my master. The emblem of the guild I'm in, World Domination, is Knuckles, after all... so we're "The Followers of the Echidna" and "The people who always get tricked by Dr. Robotnik/Eggman." Heh heh... good times... I love lots of other games, too~ I'm a gamer and proud of it!

I play Dungeons and Dragons. I love that game! Hi to any of my DnD friends that are looking at this! You guys are awesome!

And then my favorite manga is Fullmetal Alchemist. And my favorite anime is FMA: Brotherhood. I don't really like the first anime that much... I also absolutely love all of the Tales animes/OVAs (Phantasia, Abyss, Symphonia, and Eternia), Fruits Basket (both anime and manga), Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicles (manga and OVAs), xxxHolic (manga and OVAs), DN Angel (manga), Vampire Game (manga), Code Geass (anime--happy, David?), Cardcaptor Sakura (both), Yu Yu Hakusho (anime), The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (anime and book), Moon Phase (anime), Sonic X (anime), and many more!

I have a huge imagination... I daydream a lot... That's where all of my stories come from! Though sometimes it takes a while to come up with something good that I like enough to type up...

I actually got the idea for Plights of Time when babysitting this really cute little girl... XD' There was a kid's show on, and it was actually quite interesting... then I started playing around with what would happen if Sonic and the others were reborn as humans. At first I wasn't going to type it up, but... then I got to this awesomely fun part (that won't come 'til near the end of part one) and decided that I wanted to type it. Also, the cloaked people weren't in the original daydream... it was just Sonic vs. Eggman. But... they got added soon before I decided to type the story up, and I'm glad they came in!

As for my Tales of Phantasia story... I must admit, the idea for some aspects came from music videos on youtube. Great music videos! The people who made them are awesome! As for the story itself... Well, I was just playing around with ideas... It originally started with me wondering what would happen if Chester and Cless were put against each other... and then it expanded! I've had lots of fun with the mystery aspect of it! I've never written a story with this much mystery before, so I'm having lots of fun trying to give subtle hints to things!

Chester: u.u' Is that the reason why she gave me amnesia?
Klarth: I think so.
Mark: o.o' But you weren't fighting Cless most of the time... You were often fighting--

I am a hopeless romantic. I just love cute couples! Ever since I first saw the scene between Knuckles and Rouge after their final battle in Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, I have been hooked on the two. So cute! And Arche and Chester are a ton like them... I may have met Arche and Chester after Knux and Rouge, but... Archester (I made up that term. /heh) has really grown on me!

Names

Timothy Parker: Once I was making one Sonic fanfiction... and I needed a name for the boy who would be Sonic's friend. "Timothy
Parker" was the first to come to mind, and I loved the way it sounded. The name's stuck ever since.

Hiei Parker: His name is further explained in Chapter Eight: The Shadow of a Hedgehog.

Kevin Hogosha: Kevin's name has the same origin as Tim's except that the original Kevin was going to be Knuckles' friend. I had never
come up with a last name for Kevin, though, so I was presented with a new challenge at the start of this story... I pulled out my trusty
Japanese-English dictionary and looked up 'protector'. At first I wasn't too keen on 'hogosha', but it's grown on me, and now I
love it!

Karen Hogosha: I put Kevin's name in for the main character on Harvest Moon 64, and I was going to pair him with Karen... then it
suddenly occured to me: those names sound alike! Ever since, if I've need a girl who's close to Kevin in some way, I've used Karen...
it fits well!

Emily Camilla: I had no clue what to name Amy, but... Emily eventually seemed like a good name for her. As for 'camilla', I looked up
flower meanings and found one that fit her (since Amy's last name is Rose). 'Camilla (pink)' means 'Longing for you'.

Ruby Abalone: The first name is obvious. I could not resist--I had to name her after a jewel. But that's not all. 'Abalone' also fits--it's a
source of 'mother of pearl' (used in the making of jewelry).

Millie Prower: I kept Tails' name the same (to get a good use of his name. His name is awesome, despite what he thinks!), so naturally
she's also a 'Prower'. As for her first name... XD' That originally started in a daydream... It was one that centered around Tails, and I
wanted to give him a brother and sister... since his name was Miles Prower, I named his sister Milli and his brother Meters, thus Milli
and Meters Prower. Silly, yes, I know... but Milli is cute, so I simply modified it for Cream's character.

Paul Avans: 'Paul' was the first guy name that came to mind... which is how many of Kevin's group came about. 'Avans' is one of the words I found for 'good' in Romanian (it might be off, but I liked the sound of it, so oh well!)... since the Chaotix are Chaotic Good.

Eric Avans: Is introduced in Chapter Ten: A Game of Chess; Eric seemed like a good name to match his personality.

Brandon Avans: Same as Eric.

Kevin's group: Their names were decided on a whim. They were originally going to be just that--names. But by naming them, they
became something more, and now they're showing up more and more.

Samantha: Sam was originally going to be a boy, thus the nickname 'Sam' (named for a cat we once had)... After making Kevin's
group, however, I decided I wanted a distinct difference in the number of girls in the groups, so I changed 'Sam' to 'Samantha'. Like Kevin's group, Sam and Alice started becoming more important than originally intended. They're like Krai and Jill from Vampire Game--they're important in their own little way. :D

Alice: Alice was named for a great friend of mine! This Alice, however, does not act like my friend... Except that they're both very kind and awesome and nice and great people!

Coach Sensei: He originally came in in another story... an original one that I started. The main character of that story was one of my first
original characters, Puppet Master (PM for short). Coach Sensei is a very likable P.E. teacher, so I wanted to use him for this as well.

The King: The boy in the black cloak. He is named for his respective chess piece.

The Castle: The girl in the green cloak. She is named for her respective chess piece.

The Bishop: The boy in the red cloak. He is named for his respective chess piece.

The Knight: The girl in the blue cloak. She is named for her respective chess piece.

Alicia Sarel: Alicia was a character I made for DnD... I loved the name of Alicia after hearing it on Tales of Symphonia (and I was out of names), so I decided to use it for my character... and it amazingly fit her personality (despite her being so different from the ToS Alicia!). 'Sarel' is so a Sonic reference... It's used combining letters of different Sonic characters: Sonic, Amy, Rouge, Knuckles, and Tails... I had to go with odd letters on Knuckles and Tails to make it sound right...

Hope Robotnik: Her name is a reference to the archie comics... she's named after Hope Kintobor. I never actually meet Hope, I've only heard about her... but from what I can tell, the Hope in my story is kinda different in personality, though I suppose similar in looks and somewhat similar in background (not done on purpose--I made the background for my story before I even knew about Hope Kintobor). She'll come in in either chapter 16 or chapter 18... not sure which yet.

Tales of Phantasia: Teishi ni Hikkakamasu

I've been playing Tales of Phantasia (I recently got the Japanese version~! ...Even if I can't understand it... :D' It's a good thing I know the English one well!), and I decided to write a story about it! It's about the Tales of Phantasia characters, but I've added Tales of Symphonia characters as well (I love those people!). The Tales series is quickly becoming one of my favorites... I want to play more Tales series games! I own Tales of the Abyss, Legendia, World: Radiant Mythology, Eternia, Rebirth, and Destiny now... though I've yet to beat all except Phantasia, Symphonia, Abyss, and Legendia. I cosplayed as Klarth (even though I'm a girl... he has long hair!) for an anime con. My favorite character in the game is Chester, followed by Klarth... then Arche! Cless, Mint, and Suzu are all also really cool~!

The story is a mystery/adventure story from Chester's point of view, involving Tales of Symphonia characters as rebels, Klarth as a teacher, Mint as a princess, amnesia jokes (Chester has amnesia. Please bear with him.), pranks on Arche and Zelos, Summon Spirit Karaoke (yay bonus chapter!), Narikiri Dungeon characters, talking wolves, a cute little ninja with a frog, animal nicknames, Klarth's hat (that alone gets bonus points), Cless' cape, ToP game references (and references to other games!), Chester getting soaked, cute Archester moments, unison attacks (not for a while... :D' but some of them are cute!), fun titles for characters, time travel, traitors, magic, summoning, archery, other acts of heroism, Viva! Tales of!, mysterious characters, new allies that join the party, spastic researchers, memories of the hot spring scene from Chester's point of view (scary!), and gods. :D You know you wanna read it.

And then he seems calm and collected, but he's quick to snap and become angry... and flame. And glare scarily. He also holds grudges... He knows how to heal, but he won't use it on someone unless either that person is about to die or he cares about them, even just a little... Same goes for his vast knowledge, since he's very smart. Speaking about how smart he is, he knows a ton about the world, math, and physics, but he's a complete noob when it comes to emotions and women. And then all he does is read... but he's lucky to have a fast metabolism, so he's not fat. He will jump into a fight without really knowing what's going on, either siding with his friends or the ones he thinks he agrees with, from what little he's heard.

Seiken Densetsu 3 Oneshot: Chibikko Hammer Time!

This is my first oneshot, and first pure-humor story with no real plot. It has all six of the playable characters in the party when they come across the best item in the game: the Chibikko Hammer. If you don't know what that is, read my story to find out. /ok. I put Hawk as the leader because he's my favorite... Also, that is the story of when I play it... I always play it with Xantos, and we like hitting each other with the hammer... Heh, it makes for some interesting times! Anyway, please read it, and I hope you have fun and laugh!

Tales of Phantasia story: The Adventures of Kitty Klarth!

This was originally going to be a oneshot, but... I have too many ideas for it. It's a little humor story about what would happen if Klarth was turned into a kitty... though it's set after the game, so Cless, Mint, Chester, and Suzu aren't in it (sadly...). Anyway, I plan on having a lot of fun with this one~! And suggestions are always appreciated~! Oh yeah! The reason I decided to turn Klarth into a kitty was because of the 'Daaaaaaad' scene in real chapter 33, ff.net chapter 35 of my ToP: Teishi ni Hikkakmasu story... And in turn, it was this idea that made me decide to make Klarth the tiger in that story (so I've had this idea for a little while... just didn't get around to typing it up 'til now). It's probably going to keep going until either I run out of ideas or I get bored of it... /hmm Or something. I'll make sure to end it even after that! It shouldn't be too hard to end... I hope... Anyway, this one is pure Klarth/Milard-ness (Klilard?) Well, if you read it, I hope you enjoy it! And I hope you find it funny!

Tales of Phantasia story: Two Hours

This was originally supposed to be a fun little story about buying the expensive stuff at Gheeth's shop... but then I decided to add Archester-ness to it. And it turned into an Archester fluff story! I may add new chapters if I ever think of any other cute Archester fluff things to go on it~! Or Clint (Mess? ...Cless/Mint) fluff... or even Klilard fluff! Heh... I love the Phantasia couples~!

Edit: I've added a new chapter! Full of Archester fluff~! The inspiration for that chapter was a conversation between me and Starry-chan... when we were watching our chibis and muses. Just after she had given me my birthday present, actually! Chester soon started insulting Arche... so we sent her a copy of that~ And then Chester had to make it up to her... :D' and thus came the horrible attempts at complimenting! And that was the basis for this fluff idea. Hope you like it if you read it!

Tales of Phantasia Oneshot: A Promise Between Friends

This is a story dedicated to Starry-chan! It's set right before the final battle... Cless and Chester are the only ones awake for it. Everyone else is sleeping. And no, it's not a shonen-ai. I don't support them as a pair. It's about their friendship as they try to work up the courage for their fight against Dhaos. It's just a good story for showing that no matter what hardships you face, your friends are always there to help~ And who knows, they might be going through similar problems... and that if you work together, you can overcome those problems!

Chester: That's right. No shonen-ai. >.>' That'd be just plain scary...
King: >.>' As much as I hate agreeing with you, you're right, that would be... :P It must suck to be put in so many shonen-ai stories~

Tales of Phantasia Oneshot: The Courage to Face the Future

Well, I told the basis of where I got the idea in the description of the story... Except it was with Aria and Odin (OCs of mine and Starry-chan). Not Arche and Chester. So I thought "Well, knowing Arche, she probably would stop by a little early..." So yeah. It's set in the year 4293 on the Aselian calendar, which is the year Ami was born... and when Cless and Chester were about six years old. It's just a cute little story~! And Chester is a cute little kid~!

King: XDD Haha, you pronounced things wrong in it!
