As relevant as my last profile description was, it's always nice to shake things up a bit. So without further ado, a bit about me!

A vagabond that never settles in one place for more than a few years, I am a hard person to keep track of. Fanfiction is my irresponsible reprieve from the hassles of everyday life, as well as my daily dose of shameless romance. I don't get enough of it in real life, so I live vicariously through that of fictional characters in even more fictional stories. Pathetic.

I am an Asian Studies major, focusing on Japanese language and culture. Tonde mo nai! Will be a commissioned officer in the Navy upon my graduation, which will in turn add to my training as a member of Team Fukuoka, the reunited group of youngsters here to stop an untimely apocalypse in the year 2012! I got the big-ass sword.

Have delved into countless fanfiction communities over my many years on this site (I'm a FF.net veteran, kiddies) as evidenced by my ridiculously long "Favorite Stories" list. I seriously just realized that I have been on this site for almost a decade. I was a regular here for years before I'd ever gotten an account. What the hell. Haven't written anything in ages, although I've admittedly been tickled by the occasional muse. I'm just itching to write a GrimmHime of my own, but my better judgement forestalls taking action.

So, yeah. Fanfiction, romance, and often non-canon. I usually just wind up pairing my favorite male with my favorite female. Not always, but it winds up that way a lot. Got sucked into fanfiction with the DBZ fandom and, like so many others, the Bulma-Vegeta pairing! The original OTP! Moved on to Inuyasha, where I eventually succumbed to Kagome-Sesshoumaru, and birthed my love for crack!pairings. Since then I've dabbled in such things as Yu Yu Hakusho, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Naruto (Kakashi, you can Sharingan me anyday), Trigun (Vash is my favorite character. Ever.), FullMetal Alchemist, and most recently BLEACH. Don't ask me why, but Grimmjow stole my heart from the very moment I first saw that insane little grin on his face. What a sweetie. Now it's all I can do to stop mself from constantly searching for Grimmjow-Orihime fodder for my romance-clouded brain. Been seen in a few non-anime communities, too. Harry Potter, Zelda, a short Tin Man phase, and even (cringes) Labyrinth. Oh, David Bowie and your tight pants, you.

Anyhoo, I've bored you all enough. Drop me a line anytime, cuz Lord knows when I'll ever update one of my own fics. D:

10/14/08 - Hahahahahahaha I updated my profile. I don't know why I haven't given up fanfiction yet - it only gets me into trouble. Even now I'm neglecting writing up a budget report. Curses.

12/29/07 - Don't you dare read my fics. They're gross and embarrassing. D:

11/26/07 - Yeah, everything's pretty much on the backburner as far as my own stories go. I'm still around when it comes to reading and reviewing stories, though. Kag/Sess doesn't seem to get old for me despite my abandonment of the Inuyasha fandom as a whole, and I've developed a taste for crack! BLEACH pairings like GrimmHime. IchiHime still gives me warm fuzzies, though. So hit me up; I'm not dead, and many thanks to those who've reviewed my stories. Sorry that I kinda failed to deliver there.
