There has been an incident where someone copy/pasted my story, Concealed Remonstrance, changed the names of the characters and posted it as her own. It was not similar. It was word-for-word. The story has been taken down. She has been punished but the thought lingering in my mind is that she probably still has my story lying on her Desktop, waiting to be taken to another website and used again. I cannot tell you how sick and disgusted I am by what has happened. I've had this happen to friends in the past. I've seen this destroy great authors and great stories. If you do this, I don't want an apology. Just stop. There's something I've been struggling with for weeks now and I've finally come to a decision. As you can see by scrolling down, my stories are gone. Everything except the trailers and oneshots has been deleted for fear that this incident will occur over and over again without my knowing. I want to apologize to all my faithful readers. I'm sorry about Dalliance and A Fatal Attraction to Bartenders and Bloody Bravado. I'm sorry but the next time you'll read a piece by me it'll be official, published in a literary magazine or maybe a novel but never on FF. I'm sorry if you're disappointed in me. I'm disappointed in myself, really, but posting on here is like playing with fire and I got burned. I don't want to be remembered for abruptly walking away, leaving you wondering and unsatisfied. I want to be remembered for all the good moments, the successes, the friendships, the laughs, the lame and long author's notes, the individual review replies and the impact my stories may have had on your life. I know I put a lot of my time and my heart into this site and I think it's about time I grew up and ventured beyond this alternate reality that has served as my safe haven throughout my youth. 04/22/09: So I am not making a comeback to FF. Of Inked Hands and Implicated Hearts was never supposed to be seen. Period. I uploaded into my document manager a while back but never got around to posting it. Then all of a sudden I start getting reviews for it. I don't know how or why or if someone hacked my account, but I changed my password and I considered deleting IHIH but then I decided to just leave it since I never had a proper goodbye...I guess that's it.
