I've spent eight years of my life on FF.Net. A lot has changed in that time; I've earned two degrees and started on a third, I've made friends and lost them, I've learned things I never could have dreamed of, and become a person that would surprise the girl I was when I started here. And through all of that, I've kept right on telling stories. I'm proud of the work I do here -- proud of my life as a textual poacher -- and no matter where the next eight years take me, I intend to keep right on doing it. I write mostly oneshots and almost entirely gen, in all sorts of fandoms. I'm still writing Hannibal Smith drabbles for the fanfic100 community on LiveJournal; some of the longer ones I'll post separately, and the rest can be found in "A Spot of Drabble Rousing".
