Hello all! This is Duckie24, formerly known as A Bloom.
I'm a girl living in the USA. I am a die-hard
Democrat and I can't stand Bush. That's the extent of my
political-ness. I am quite the little freaky gal but not in a
fetish-type way. I just have no attention span and I tend to drift off
on the oddest tangents. Good word. Tangents. Like tangerines. I like
tangerines. I also like raspberries. Besides fruit, I like meat, which
I recently started eating again because I was getting too skinny. Yeah,
I know what you're thinking. A skinny American! Okay, maybe you
weren't, but for all the articles on "Obese America", the thought would've hit you at some point.
I love movies and far too many of them to list here. A few
highlights are any of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Monty Python and
the Holy Grail, Mary Poppins, About a Boy, Chocolat, and many others. I
love cats, cows, and ducks. And yes, I still like About a Boy despite
the scene where the kid chucks the bread at the duck and kills it. In
fact, it's my favorite scene just because
it's so funny.
In terms of the male species, I recently got over Orlando Bloom
after a long crush that began with the first of the LotR trilogy and
spanned until about now (December 2004). Other eye-candy favorites
include Johnny Depp, Eric Szmanda, Eric Close, and Colin Firth. And for
random reasons that I cannot explain, I love the car dealer from the
Volkswagon commercials and the guy from the IBM commercials.
My favorite shows and ships, are CSI (Greg/Sara), Without a Trace (Martin/Sam), and The West Wing (Josh/Donna, although,
who doesn't?).
