One day, I will sit down at my desk and type out the novel that has been banging around inside my head for the last six years. Writing fanfiction is so immediately gratifying when I know that someone out there is reading my stories and liking them. I love to write and read, Sylvia Plath is one of my all time favorites. Writing is one of the ways I express myself and I think that you have to be honest with yourself when you write, otherwise it won't be good. Writing is an act of self-discovery; for me it's a way to organize my thoughts and find out how I truly feel about things. I couldn't imagine a world where I didn't write, it's such an ingrained process that it's natural for me to pull out my journal and just write out what I'm thinking.

A few things about my stories:

-- I try to make my characters as realistic as possible. I'm not a huge fan of characters acting in an OOC (out of character) manner. You won't see a gentle Voldemort in my stories nor will you find a friendly blast ended skrewt (!) . Since I am a big fan of Dramione, I do take some liberties with the characters. I have to obviously, since Hermione and Draco were not a couple in the books. I change the situations, not their personalities.

-- I like to have all my facts right! If it's set during Half Blood Prince, then Harry, Ron and Hermione are going to have Slughorn for Potions, not Snape. If Harry, Ron and Hermione are in their final year at Hogwarts, then you won't see Cormac McClaggan anywhere because he was a year above them. Details like these just make the story more plausible and realistic in my opinion, which makes for a better read.

-- I try to iron out all the grammar issues before I publish. If you see an issue, any issue (this goes for the above bulletin too) PM me and I'd be happy to fact check it. I'm a big fan of the series, so I do know a lot of random trivia, but I'm not infallible.

Hey lovely readers!

Just wanted to let you know that I'm still writing. It's practically going a paragraph a weekend, so who knows how long it's going to take me. It's taking me a lot longer since I practically have no free time this semester.
