Sometimes I like to live in my own little world, but it has a gate that is locked and at times I can't find the key.

Where do I start...

My name is Erin. I'm fifteen.

I'm 1/3 Ravenclaw, 1/3 Hufflepuff, and 1/3 Slytherin. Never once have I taken a sorting quiz and gotten Gryffindor. I'm not sure if I should happy or sad about this fact.

Truth be told, I like to write much more than I like to read. However, the few books that reach into my soul, pull at my heartstrings, and fracture my stone emotions (make me cry) are held near and dear to me. This should be apparent enough. The Fault In Our Stars by John Green is one of these books, Harry Potter by JK Rowling is another, and also The Perks of Being A Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky is on the list. I know - they're all so mainstream but these books really speak to me, as stupid as that sounds.

I do have other things that I like to occupy my time with, such as art (suck at this), music (suck at this, too), photography (I actually think I can be good at this), and various types of sports that remain simple passtimes in the backyard. Unfortunately, I don't have much talent but I do what I can. Otherwise, I wouldn't have much of a life.

I don't talk much, in RL or online. And don't even think about telling to me to "just jump in" or "just PM somebody" because I won't. It's too hard for me, even though I love talking to people when I can get into it. But if you take me by the hand and guide/help me with all you can I shall grant you my eternal love.

I'm also a perfectionist. This should be an explanation as to why I haven't published anything in a while.

I would love to get to know you, espeically if you're from the HPFC Forum. I'm always hesitant to hit the PM button but if you can, shoot me a PM because I love talking, whether it'd be about fandoms, music, advice, or just general things. I may take a while to reply but I promise I won't bite, not unless you bite me first. In which case, you may leave without limbs.

*My Reviews*

My reviews tend be longish... But that depends. If I have a lot to comment on (say 5000 words or so) they'll probably be a little long. I hand out constructive criticism when I feel it's necessary, but I'll probably be the one showering you with cupcakes and confetti if you're that talented. ;)

I don't normally reply to reviews, unless someone asked a question or just decided to be awesome and I feel like giving them cookies. Otherwise, I let it go. It's not that I don't appreciate reviews - I love them so much and I can't thank any of you enough for taking the time to R&R, it's just that I'd rather not spam somebody's inbox with a PM saying nothing but "thanks."

As for review replies, I don't normally respond to those either. I do occasionally but not all the time.

*My Works*

Angsty NextGen and really, anything else that comes to mind. My writing is quite diverse, actually. I will write almost anything that isn't Trio Era or pre-Marauder Era. Why do I write what I do? Because my thoughts are diverse and I'm open to trying almost anything if I believe I can achieve it. I love NextGen Era because, yes, they are practically OCs and I get to mold the characters into anything I want them to be, along with the new age they live in. It's simply fun to write and experiment with them. Like most everyone, I have a special head!canon for them but I switch it up a bit when I can, for doing the same thing over and over again is dull and I don't like parts of my head!canon. :P It's a long story.

I love to write Sirius Black, and I realise why. Because he is an angsty, tragic character that I get to torture but pleasure at the same time (yes, I will eventually get around to fluffy!Sirius fics. ;) ). Plus, Sirius is one of my favourite characters, and who doesn't love to write about their favourite character when they can?

Feel free to browse my fics, but beware - I have only been writing on this site for a year and anything passed October first isn't likely to be any good. Although, I plan to rewrite some of those fics sometime so they won't stay awful. PM me if you want a directory.
