Hello all. :) Well, I am an '04 college graduate, in my second year of teaching English in Japan. I have been reading fanfics for close to three years, but haven't really tried my hand at them. I have a lot of favorites, obviously, and I beta a lot of stories, too (and yes, I do take requests for beta-ing, occasionally). The "S.P.E.W. Drabble" is the result of a plot bunny that would not go away, and so here it is. (There was also a plot bunny that popped up once about Ron trying to play Muggle Othello with Harry, and getting frustrated because he couldn't give the pieces commands... But I didn't get to a computer fast enough to write that one down, so it continues to hop around in my head ineffectually and incomplete.) I also wrote a rather nice songfic to "Travelling Solider" by The Dixie Chicks--at least I think it's nice-- but I can't post it here, so I can't ask for your opinions, either. ;) hahaha.

Anyway. I just felt like posting my little drabble, so I hope one or two people out there like it. And I am a huge fan of Jeconais, Bob & Alyx, and Kingsfire, so if any of the ideas mentioned or alluded to sound familiar, it was quite likely sparked by them, so I give credit to said authors... and 3 years of Harry Potter fanfictions. ;) hahaha... No, honestly, I think one or two of Harry's arguments came from Jeconais' "White Knight, Grey Queen," which is superb. Some of the others came from my business degree ;) lol.
